Pffft! Revenge for the Carabao Cup defeat? I'm a fit 60, and I bet I could put a better shift in than this Man U lot!

    Almost 3-0!

Newcastle drive forward through Fabian Schar. He finds Bruno Guimaraes and carries on into the box to meet the low return ball but can only poke wide of the goal.

Manchester United have been disappointing today, he's [Erik ten Hag] tried to give players rest time but with so many games ahead, it will be interesting to see how they play.

Newcastle look so much sharper and fresher today.

In fairness, David de Gea and the United back four have done fairly okay today. Unfortunately, the midfield and attack have been virtually non-existent for the last four domestic games. Only one deserved winner here.

2 goals from 2 yards out…. And we’ve had to listen to this nonsense that United defence this season is the best thing since sliced bread!

    Tame.

Marcus Rashford has barely been in this game and he sums up his afternoon by rolling a harmless pass straight to Nick Pope from just inside the box.

Ten Hag’s decision to sub off both centre backs has… completely unexpectedly… meant that Man U are struggling to defend set pieces.

    Callum Wilson

    Game over!

Callum Wilson gets his first goal since February. It is a fine one, too, as he rises amongst a group of players in the middle to meet a free-kick and glance the ball home.

That wraps up the points for Newcastle and it is fully deserved too.

Dan Burn is tall, but he's not quite tall enough to stretch and reach a cross from Elliott Anderson and head on target. He can only glance it wide.

    What is going on here?

Lisandro Martinez is punching the chairs on the Man Utd bench.

There is also some angry words being thrown about between the two sets of coaches. Looks like the Man Utd lads aren't happy at how long Nick Pope took on a goal-kick.
