No one seems to have twigged that everyone is "so inconsistent" because there is huge strength in depth in the Premier League these days. All these managers like Brendan Rodgers, Patrick Vieira and Conte haven't become terrible overnight. We just need to adjust expectations of how easy it is to breeze into the top 4.

I've never known a season where the "top six" are so woefully inconsistent. Probably what happens when you stick a World Cup in the middle of a season. Looking forward to normality in August
