I watched the start of that move from inside the Manchester United half as the hosts took possession from the left touchline, across the penalty area to the right.

Everton were struggling to deal with the overload on the right, which created the gap for Scott McTominay to run into. Jadon Sancho's execution of the final pass was superb and the finish clinical.

This has been a good half for the hosts. But they should be further ahead.

The traffic continues one way.

Now Everton have a dilemma.

They have been under the cosh for much of this half and have retreated in the last 15 minutes especially.

At some point, though, they'll need to show some ambition.
