That's five goals from "defensive, past it", Hodgson. Whenever you're ready to apologise, Palace fans....

To think that this team have struggled to score under Vieira. To score 5 this afternoon has something to say what Hodgson has done with the team.

Michael Olise is tracking back, doing the work. He loses the ball but still a top attitude.

Paul: Oh I’m getting sick of these offside checks taking ages. Another one just in this game where the player (Ayew in this case) is clearly onside yet they take more time than necessary to decide it. Shock horror he’s then given onside. Are these officials blind?

Impressive stuff. Great player.

It’s very poor from Leeds when you are in this relegation fight.
You are expected to win. To get beat by this margin is very, very concerning.
Second half, they have not turned up. Crystal Palace have been amazing.
Leeds 1-5 Crystal Palace
Palace never scored five goals in a Premier League game under Patrick Vieira.
The last time they did this was a 5-1 win at West Brom on 6 December 2020 under Roy Hodgson.

Imagine if someone told you in that first half that Palace would end up so comfortable they could bring some players off for a rest.

This is a massive result. Possibly season-defining. At this stage of the season, you have to take your chances, and for all their phenomenal first-half play, Leeds lacked composure in front of goal. Palace have absolutely punished them for it in this second half.

I bet Roy Hodgson cannot believe his luck. The first half Palace were outplayed and in the second it is a different Leeds that has come out.
You can't give good players time to play. Leeds have taken their foot off the pedal.

No Jordan Ayew hat-trick. He's replaced in a triple change.
Jean-Philippe Mateta, James McArthur and Luka Milivojevic replace Ayew, Jeffrey Schlupp and Cheick Doucoure.

Leeds bring on Georginio Rutter for Patrick Bamford. Just four goals needed.

It’s a bizarre goal. They have worked it really well.
It’s poor defending.
Incredible scoreline here.

Where has this second half come from!?
Elland Road is quickly emptying around me as stunned Leeds fans have had enough.
For as dominant as Leeds were in the first half, this second-half capitulation will be of huge concern.

This Roy Hodgson side is far too cagey away from home. I wish Palace had opted for a more adventurous manager.
George
Maybe Chelsea should have went with Roy, instead of this fantasy that Lampard can do it as a manager

It's given. I'm not even sure what they were checking, it didn't look in doubt.

It is all too easy. Where are the two centre-backs? Ayew is by the penalty spot on his own.
