Wolves

"We suffered in moments that we had to suffer, but I think we deserved to win against a very good team.

"Diego [Costa] has helped the team and the squad a lot. Sometimes he was out of the squad list, but he’s here to help the team and the club. He’s very important.

Today, fortunately, he has scored. He deserves one goal. He has played a very good match with and without the ball, so I’m very happy for him.

"I think it’s about commitment. Playing against Brentford is not easy. They put you under a lot of mental stress. We’re happy and we have to continue.

"Obviously we’re not safe at this point. We still have to make a lot of points. We have to be ready to get them."

The groans of frustration from Everton fans haven’t been heard at Goodison for a while lately.

They became increasingly audible today though as the game went on, as Fulham took three great chances to take the game.

When Dwight McNeil scored to equalise at 1-1, there was hope Everton could retake the game.

But Fulham returned to their flow as the game went on to the relief of visiting fans who had seen defeats in their last four games.

I would have given Arsenal the title if it wasn't Manchester City chasing them.

Manchester City could win every game.

Brentford

Brentford manager Thomas Frank, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "You always aim for a ten out of ten performance. I think we performed better in many aspects than our 2-0 win over West Ham and our 2-0 win over Southampton. It doesn’t always fall for you.

"There was a lot of effort and will-power from the team. We were very much in the game, but then they get that second goal that kills it. That’s football.

"We were completely on top and really putting pressure on, but we had an injury and after that we never got back into it.

"We have to do everything we can. What we’ve done so far is still amazing. We want more. We’re disappointed we haven’t got more out of the last five games, but it was a good enough performance that could easily have given us points today.

"Sometimes it drops for you. If you look at all the stats in this game, we deserved more. Unfortunately, we didn’t get it."

Fulham

Fulham midfielder Harry Wilson: "Great, it was a massive game for us, as we've not been the best of late. It was a big game for them but for us as well because we wanted to get back to the levels we had been earlier this season.

"I think for most of the season the confidence has been top but once you lose a couple of games the confidence does dip. To come here and get back to the levels and to score three goals and win will hopefully help us kick on for the rest of the season."

On his goal: "I missed one before that so yeah that was in the back of my mind. I think the team move for the one in the second one Willian's cutback fell lovely for me."

On stemming the Goodison Park atmosphere: "That was a big part of our team talk before the game, we knew if we started well we could kill the atmosphere. We let them back into it at the end of the first half but I think in the second half as soon as we got the goal we controlled the game and the atmosphere."

On Fulham's form this season: "Before the season started we set a target to get in the top half and that's good so it's about finishing there and getting as high as we can."

As you'd expect, the Bournemouth players and staff are lapping up the joy coming from the away end here.

They are now six points clear of the bottom three. Take a bow Gary O'Neil and team. Cracking job.

Arsenal have a six-point lead over Manchester City, who can close the gap to three points with a win at the Etihad today.

Tottenham, with that defeat to Bournemouth, remain three points off fourth having played two games extra.

They have got their revenge!

Bournemouth were stung by Spurs in injury time to lose 3-2 at the Vitality Stadium earlier in the season.

They're going to get their revenge here.
