    Brentford 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Ooh! Great chance for Forest. Morgan Gibbs-White breaks through the centre. He lays it off to Serge Aurier and his low ball in almost reaches Brennan Johnson, who only needed a touch to beat David Raya. The Brentford keeper does well to get there first.

  2. goal

    GOAL - Brighton 1-0 Wolvespublished at 15:06 BST 29 April 2023

    Deniz Undav

An inventive move to take the lead!

Solly March keeps the ball alive following a cross and a low ball into the box is flicked into Deniz Undav's path and he stabs in from close range.

However, there is going to be a check by VAR...

  3. 'Forest have to be as good as against Brighton'published at 15:06 BST 29 April 2023

    Brentford 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think it was 11 games without a win going into that midweek match against Brighton.

I think it was the first time they've won after going behind, so that will give them loads of confidence going into this one.

They are going to have to perform equally as well today because this Brentford team is good.

  4. Postpublished at 15:06 BST 29 April 2023

    Brentford 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Ben Mee, making his 200th Premier League appearance today, switches it around the back for Brentford before it's sent over to Rico Henry. His cross is headed away by Felipe.

  5. Postpublished at 15:04 BST 29 April 2023

    Brentford 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Orel Mangala comes in heavily on Vitaly Janelt to give away a free-kick inside the Forest half.

Mathias Jensen plays it in towards Ivan Toney but Taiwo Awoniyi is back there for Forest to help out.

  6. Postpublished at 15:04 BST 29 April 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

Not much happening here so far, we've just had a lengthy stoppage because Deniz Undav needed some treatment after an accidental clash with Nelson Semedo.

  7. Postpublished at 15:02 BST 29 April 2023

    Brentford 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Forest, buoyed by that crucial win over Brighton in the week, go straight down the left through Morgan Gibbs-White but it's mopped up comfortably by Brentford.

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:01 BST 29 April 2023

Off we go at Brentford and Brighton. If we get another seven-goal thriller in either, we'll be happy.

  10. 'West Ham have superior firepower over rivals'published at 14:59 BST 29 April 2023

FT: Crystal Palace 4-3 West Ham

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on Final Score

West Ham are up against it.

It's not something they can turn their focus away from [the relegation battle], even with their European adventure this season.

There's still some points that they need to get on the board to assure their safety.

They've got the quality and firepower [to stay up]. They scored three goals today, it's not something that the likes of Everton, Southampton or even Forest can do easily.

  11. 'It was absolute madness'published at 14:59 BST 29 April 2023

FT: Crystal Palace 4-3 West Ham

    Crystal Palace

Eberechi Eze speaking to BT Sport after Crystal Palace's win: "It was absolute madness, we worked hard and gave everything. They’re good at set pieces but we did all we could and happy to get the three points.

"We’re thriving under Roy, we're creative and positive when we have the ball.

"I think it’s a credit to all of us, we're all working so hard on the processes not just the results, trying to improve and get better. Just happy to get the three points.

"Our main aim is to keep winning, keep improving on the performances and see where it takes us."

  12. 'Milner would suit Brighton'published at 14:58 BST 29 April 2023

    Brighton v Wolves (15:00 BST)

    Adam Crafton
Reporter for The Athletic, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live

The balance in the squad is important.

With the way that the club works they may lose a couple of players. I expect them to lose one of Caicedo or Mac Allister this summer. James Milner for a club in Brighton's position would be really good for them.

  13. Toney chases 1930s recordpublished at 14:58 BST 29 April 2023

Brentford v Nottingham Forest (15:00 BST)

Ivan Toney needs one goal to become only the second Brentford player to score 20 in a top-flight season.

David McCulloch achieved the feat three times in the 1930s.

Toney has alternated between scoring a goal and not scoring across his last 13 league appearances; he failed to score in his most recent outing.

  14. 'Forest will find a way'published at 14:58 BST 29 April 2023

Brentford v Nottingham Forest (15:00 BST)

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a really tough call for Forest. I like the manager, I think he's had his hands tied a little bit with the amount of players.

Southampton, Chelsea, Arsenal [fixtures to come], it's difficult for them. I believe they'll do enough. When you are down there fighting relegation, players find a way sometimes and I think Forest may just find a way.

  15. 'Now or never for Forest'published at 14:57 BST 29 April 2023

    Brentford v Forest (15:00 BST)

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on Final Score

They are dismal on the road. But it is now or never for Forest.

They are moving in the right direction, a new squad that has taken time to gel, but I think they're going to finish strong.

  16. 'How has Frank not been linked to bigger clubs?'published at 14:57 BST 29 April 2023

    Brentford v Forest (15:00 BST)

    Stephen Warnock
Former England and Liverpool defender on Final Score

Thomas Frank has done an incredible job, it's incredible that he hasn't been linked to bigger jobs,

I look at him and automatically say Spurs. I don't think he would take it, but how he's not been mentioned in the conversation is baffling.

Yes you may say there are similarities with Thomas Frank and Graham Potter when he was at Brighton, but I think Frank is different.

  17. 'Brentford's success is no surprise'published at 14:57 BST 29 April 2023

Brentford v Nottingham Forest (15:00 BST)

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Thomas Frank has done a fantastic job. Brentford have to do things a different way and the job he has done this with this group of players is fantastic.

They almost feel like an established team in the Premier League.

They are making a lot of good decisions at the minute so it's no surprise to see them doing well again this season.

They are doing a lot of things right here.

  18. 'Forest have a tough final day'published at 14:56 BST 29 April 2023

Brentford v Nottingham Forest (15:00 BST)

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on BBC 5 Live

Nottingham Forest are the only team on the final day who have an away game.

If you were to be a fan of them [Everton] would you fancy a final game against Bournemouth? I think you would.

  19. Forest's concerning travelspublished at 14:55 BST 29 April 2023

Brentford v Nottingham Forest (15:00 BST)

Nottingham Forest ended an 11-game winless league run by beating Brighton in midweek.

They have only once won consecutive league matches this season, against Southampton and Leicester in January.

Forest have the worst away record in the Premier League this season, with one win, six points and seven goals from 16 games.

  20. Who can get out of bottom three?published at 14:54 BST 29 April 2023

    Adam Crafton
Reporter for The Athletic, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think with Southampton seem better away from home at the moment. There may be a weird kind of freedom Southampton find in the next couple of weeks.

I look at Everton and I'm not sure where they're getting points. They don't score goals and they've stopped keeping clean sheets.

Last year everyone was talking about the Goodison crowd and that did work in a few of the games but this year it feels more toxic.
