FT: Fulham 1-2 Man City
Manchester City
Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez, speaking to Match of the Day: "It was a very important win for us today. Every game from here on out is a final. Especially after the win against Arsenal, we'll be able to catch up. We need to keep this going.
On scoring: "It was really nice to score here, a really important goal at an important point of the match. Really nice to contribute."
On playing with Erling Haaland: "It's very important to have such a dangerous forward, he's scoring so many goals. It's on the whole team to be able to play throughout the phase as a whole so we need to keep that going."
On if the team needed to be mentally strong: "We knew it would never be easy coming here because of the pitch, because of how good Fulham are as a team. We were very happy to withstand the pressure and hold out."
On going top of the table: "This is where we wanted to be at the start of the season. Everyone's put in really good work and now we've reached the top we need to defend it. Every game is a final for us and everyone's going to pull together to make that final effort."
FT: Man Utd 1-0 Aston Villa
Aston Villa
Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez speaking to Sky Sports: "It's a bit harsh [to lose], we didn't start the game well, we were sloppy and gave the ball away too many times to them. Our line was good, our spirit was there in the second half but at the end of the day it's zero points that we talk back to Birmingham and it's a little bit frustrating.
"We have got a winning mentality right now, we were unbeaten for ten games and we tried to come here to take the three points, not even a draw. We tried at the end, they defended their goal really well and cleared their line a few times but we can't start games sloppy like that.
On whether Unai Emery has instilled a winning mentality: "Yeah of course. He gives us a game plan every single game and a lot of ideas to win games. Positioning, fighting spirit, he's one of the best managers in the world."
On Man United's goal: "I didn't do a long ball for 40 minute and I decided to go long and Casemiro did an amazing header and then Rashford is all of a sudden one v one. I made a save and then it deflected off Moreno. Disappointed because we lost the game via a deflection."
"You can see how far we have come with this manager. It is a good time to be a Villa fan. I'm proud to wear this shirt. I'm all in every weekend and let's see if we can qualify in Europe in the next four games."
FT: Newcastle 3-1 Southampton
Southampton
Southampton midfielder Stuart Armstrong speaking to Sky Sports: "It's not easy to take, we needed the points and every week is so important. Another game down and more points missed, it's been a difficult season.
"Whenever you’re leading a game there’s always going to be more pressure, we found ourselves in a good position and couldn’t hold on to it, it's disappointing.
"If you have games and don’t pick up points, the longer it goes on the together it gets."

Tottenham fans expect an entertaining style of play and we haven't seen that this season.
The last few years they have gambled on managers who win trophies but don't play attractive football. Fans will put up with it if they get a trophy but they haven't won anything.
FT: Fulham 1-2 Man City
Fulham
Fulham manager Marco Silva to Sky Sports: "Difficult to take as always when you lose a game and were competitive. Proud of our players to be honest, it's not easy to play against City and concede in the first minute of the match. We should've started the game stronger.
"In the second half we tried. We didn't give them many chances. The game was open until the end. Unfortunately we didn't get the goal towards the end.
"The worst thing about today is the two injured players we got. It's been tough for us these past few weeks."
On the injuries to Tim Ream and Andreas Pereira: "They are both in hospital. They both look serious injuries. Tim Ream looks like a fracture in his arm. Let's wait to see if it's not serious with Andreas [Pereira]."
FT: Bournemouth 4-1 Leeds
Bournemouth
Bournemouth manager Gary O'Neil, speaking to Sky Sports: "Really pleased. It was a little bit chaotic, as I thought it might be. At 2-0 up and cruising we concede a poor goal from our point of view and that makes it feel a bit closer than it should have been. We showed real quality in the second half in a tense situation to play through. Very proud of the boys to produce two wins in three days against relegation rivals, when they have had more time to prepare.
"We spoke about character and that Leeds would definitely feel better than us. But if we can get ourselves to a place where we don't care and focus on the goal in August and achieved it today. Three points today, I believe achieves our goal of staying in the Premier League. Now we can set more goals for the next four games.
"We were working hard before and suffered huge injury problems with a squad were weren't really able to strengthen in the summer. Then new ownership in January so new players arriving and some back from injury. We never dropped our heads and it made a perfect storm where we never lost momentum. We knew we were on the right track and had to keep pushing.
"I am very proud of them, they have given me everything. There were questions asked and to answer them is a real testimony to everyone in that room."

I can see Liverpool winning all of their remaining fixtures. Manchester United and Newcastle are in the driving seat for the top four but I look at Liverpool's fixtures and can't see them losing again.
They are the team to look out for.
FT - Newcastle 3-1 Southampton
Newcastle United
Newcastle striker Callum Wilson speaking to Premier League Productions: “I think we started slow and sloppy, we had a game a few days ago so it was probably down to tired legs and minds, we made changes at half time, got the crowd involved and brought new energy to the front line."
"Mindset was the main thing, we regrouped at half-time, tactically tweaked a few things and blew them away second half."
Being a super sub: “No chance! You have to have a good mindset as a striker even after scoring 2 midweek and then being on the bench. I came on, got a couple of goals, just frustrated not to get the hat trick for myself. Finding space in the box comes natural to me, it was great play from Alex [Isak]. We put ourselves in front with a deflection and another goal, it was poor defending from their part but the third just wouldn’t come.
"Hopefully the hat-trick comes next week, all you can do is put the ball in the net when you get the opportunity, it just wouldn’t go in but it will eventually. It was a good three points."
Champions League qualification: "We're getting closer, the games are running out and we’re picking up points so all we can do is keep getting the points."
FT: Man Utd 1-0 Aston Villa
Manchester United
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live: "A good three points but I think an impressive performance from Manchester United. We were magnificant on the ball, had good possesion and pressed well.
"In the second half you want to go 2-0 ahead but we didn't so it's always going to be a tough finish.
"[Victor Lindelof] played brilliant. He was totally in control in the area around [Ollie] Watkins.
"Bruno [Fernandes] had another great game. The plan was to play him from the right to make runs behind and he did that so well. I think our plan worked very well."
"We look from game to game and next we have Brighton so we need to work hard again. We need to show passion again and not worry about the table.
"We are totally in control [in the race for top four], it's all about us and it's in our hands."

Tottenham responded well in midweek against Manchester United.
Ryan Mason knows the players, he's been there a long time and came through with Harry Kane. He's good a good insight on this squad.
It's going to be tough for him but that's the same at any club. He will have been pleased with the reaction in the second half against United.
Liverpool v Tottenham (16:30 BST)
Mohamed Salah has been involved in 11 goals in his last eight home games in all competitions (8 goals, 3 assists), scoring at least once in each of his last six.
The last Liverpool player to score in more consecutive Anfield appearances was Luis Suarez.
Since Salah joined Liverpool in 2017, no other player has scored more Premier League goals against Tottenham (7).
He netted both goals in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Spurs in the reverse fixture this season.

Manchester United
Manchester United matchwinner Bruno Fernandes speaking to Premier League Productions: "We always do everything to win the game, not every time it is possible but the team always do everything to win the game.
"It's always important because this club is about winning games. It doesn't matter the opponent we play against, we knew we were playing against a good team who haven't lost in 10 games who have good players and good patterns but we also knew that we are capable to do our job and win the game.
"We did what we were trained to do, we could have scored more goals but we are happy with the 1-0 and the three points.
"It's really important for us to get top four and then we have to think about winning a trophy so we have to find the energy and aim for the top four and the FA Cup."
FT: Fulham 1-2 Man City
Fulham
Fulham midfielder Harrison Reed, speaking to Sky Sports: "A tough game. Really fast start from them, disappointing from us. It took a moment of brilliance from them to win the game in the end.
"There was an incredibly fast start and it's tough from there. We were prepared to work hard for each other, it's something we've been working on. We grew into the game with a great goal and I think we deserved to be back in
We feel we could've got something today but we were playing against one of the best teams in the world. We were very creative and I'm disappointed not to take something."

I think Harry Kane will stay in the Premier League. Ultimately, he will want to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goalscoring record and he can very much do that with his age and how many goals he’s scored.
I can’t see Man City wanting him now they have got Haaland. I doubt Newcastle would be an option for him so Man Utd are the ones where you think the shoe fits. It's a huge football club.
They are on the cusp of coming back to something they used to be. The one thing they miss is that out and out goalscorer which Harry is, but I also think Harry’s got much, much more to give.

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Robertson, Van Dijk, Konate, Alexander-Arnold, Jones, Fabinho, Elliot, Diaz, Gakpo, Salah.

It was a massive goal from Julian Alvarez.
I described him as industrious. He does a lot of work for the team, but he scored a special goal today. It has to be up there with the best that he's scored in the blue of Manchester.

BBC Sport at St James’ Park
Newcastle were flat and lacking inspiration in the first half, then Callum Wilson arrived to steal the show.
He scored twice and had another ruled out, but the way he lifted everybody on and off the pitch defined this game.
There has been lots of talk about whether Eddie Howe should play him or Alexander Isak up front. But not for the first time, their combination made the difference.
By the end, it was a party atmosphere, with a full St James’ Park sensing greater things on the horizon. But Newcadtle’s ability to wrestle control from Southampton was really impressive.
The Saints battled well but ran out of steam. Their task is getting tougher by the week.
FT: Bournemouth 4-1 Leeds
Bournemouth
Bournemouth forward Dominic Solanke, speaking to Premier League Productions: "We knew today if we got three points we would be in a fantastic position. It was like a final for us and we performed.
"It has been a tough week. We started it with a bad result and to bounce back with two results like that just shows the type of team we are. A lot of people wrote us off at the beginning of the season but we always believed in ourselves and the last eight games or so have been magnificent.
"We have had the season to gel and we have formed a good bond as a team. At the start of the season, I wasn't getting too many chances but in the run we've been on I've been able to flourish and score some goals.
"I don't know if we are mathematically safe but I don't think others will be able to catch us now. We want to finish on as many points as we can."
Liverpool v Tottenham up next at 16:30 BST.
We'll start building up to that but plenty of reaction to come from the other games.
