• Rochdale are four points adrift at the bottom after a 1-0 defeat at Grimsby.

• Sheffield Wednesday extended their lead at the top to three points, with two games in hand, after a 1-0 win at Portsmouth as second-placed Plymouth lost 3-0 at Barnsley who stay fourth.
• Ipswich beat Bolton 2-0 to close to within two points of Argyle, and Derby moved up to fifth with a 3-2 comeback win at Oxford, who have picked up one point from their past 10 games.
