    And another!

City break down the left, Phil Foden is too good and too fast for Connor Roberts and the low cross is perfect, with Erling Haaland steering the ball first-time past Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

That's seven goals in five days for Haaland. Amazing.

One moment is all it takes at this level.

Haaland just does enough; lovely little knockdown to Alvarez and that is a really intelligent finish.

He can't be stopped at the minute.

    Erling Haaland

That's 40 for the season for Erling Haaland!

The ball is played up from Stefan Ortega to Haaland with his back to goal, tightly marked, Haaland knocks it off to Julian Alvarez and spins.

Alvarez's return ball is perfectly-weighted and Haaland gets there before Bailey Peacock-Farrell and flicks the ball past the Burnley goalkeeper with the outside of his foot.

Riyad Mahrez with a dream control from a long pass from Stefan Ortega and that sets up a move down City's left. Phil Foden's cross is met by Erling Haaland, but, under pressure, he can only head the ball back across the six-yard box and not at goal.

    Man City 0-0 Burnley

Phil Foden has been on the end of some rough challenges from Burnley and Manchester City should've had a free-kick just outside the penalty area after Foden has his foot trod on, but nothing given.

They have been helped by a couple of stray passes from Stefan Ortega but Burnley have started well.

Although they are spending longer periods without the ball than they do in the Championship, the Clarets are using it well when they do get it.

Ruben Dias just had to make a pretty important tackle in his own penalty area and Ameen Al-Dakhil missed his kick when he had a chance to strike from an acute angle.

This is a good spell for Burnley. Louis Beyer slots through a great pass and Nathan Tella is just about to strike at goal only for a truly superb last-ditch sliding challenge from Ruben Dias to deny him.

A loose ball out of defence from City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega gives Lyle Foster the chance to get into the penalty area, but City's defenders come to Ortega's rescue and wipe out the danger.

Burnley then have the first shot of the match as Nathan Tella, who scored twice in the 2-1 replay win over Ipswich Town in round four, including a last-minute winner, strikes at goal and Ortega pushes it wide.

The corner for the visitors then comes to nothing.

Trying to get the game on my phone awaiting a flight home. Strong City team. I hope Burnley play well, but 1-0 to City would suit me.
