West Ham manager Paul Konchesky is a former Liverpool player having spent one season at the club between 2010 and 2011.

The defender was loaned out to Nottingham Forest by Kenny Dalglish in January 2011 and was eventually sold to Leicester the following summer.

His time at Liverpool never really went to plan. Chance for some revenge today?

    Carrie Jones (90+5 mins)

They've done it! Late, late drama!

Sam Tierney just bides her time down the right-hand side, does well to lose her marker and find Hannah Cain who turns and feeds it through to Carrie Jones in the middle of the area.

There's a swarm of Reading shirts around her but she just picks her spot and calmly slots into the bottom left corner.

It's a complete pile on of Leicester bodies. They have deserved that.

How big could that goal be?

  4. Longhurst to equal WSL appearance recordpublished at 16:57 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

West Ham v Liverpool (17:00 BST)

Earlier today Tottenham Hotspur defender Kerys Harrop broke the record for most Women's Super League appearances after she played her 178th game.

Harrop, 32, overtook Gilly Flaherty and Kate Longhurst on the list when Tottenham faced Everton on Saturday.

West Ham's Longhurst, though, has the chance to equal the league's appearance record when her side play Liverpool at 17:00 BST.

    She's on the bench today.

    Leicester 1-1 Reading

As it happens, we have another stoppage in play as Rachel Rowe is down and needs treatment.

There have been a ridiculous amount of stops in this game, but she did take one to the mush so I suppose that's fair enough.

I thought we would have a bit of time to build-up properly to the match between West Ham and Liverpool but with 12 minutes of added time in Leicester it seems not. Quick flurry incoming...

Midtable sides West Ham and Liverpool have the chance to pull away from a potential relegation scrap when the two meet each other at Chigwell Construction Stadium this afternoon.

Liverpool come into the game one point behind the Irons in the WSL table, currently sitting in eighth place.

When the pair faced off earlier in the season first-half goals from Welsh midfielder Ceri Holland and American forward Katie Stengel secured a 2-0 win for the Reds to end a seven-game winless run.

West Ham are out of form themselves this time around, having tasted defeat in each of their last five across all competitions.

How many chances do Leicester want?!

Hannah Cain heads down to get the ball under control and lashes a shot off but it's straight at Grace Moloney.

All she had to do was pick a spot.

Ruby Mace sends in free-kick from right on the half-way line.

Grace Moloney is right off her line and it's bobbling round in the box.

There's a massive scramble in the goal mouth and it's another huge opportunity for Leicester but Moloney eventually recovers and manages to smother the ball.

  12. CLOSE!published at 16:47 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Leicester 1-1 Reading

Ohhh no. They won't get many more chances as good as that, Leicester.

Sam Tierney loops a curling cross out to Hannah Cain at the far post but she just can't get her header down and it's over the bar.

Leicester have had the better chances to win this match.

Leicester have come closer in this second half.

Rachel Rowe advances down the right-hand side at pace. She unleashes her shot just on the right-hand edge of the area. Not a bad effort but it's into the side netting.

    Leicester 1-1 Reading

Carrie Jones picks the ball up just outside the area, she has the time and space to drive forward but her effort is a bit tame and is parried away easily by keeper Grace Moloney.

It comes back out to Jones but is eventually scrambled away.

    Big opportunity.
