Jordan Henderson crosses it in from the right and James Maddison heads it straight at the keeper.

He's penalised for a shove in the box too.

Mykhailo Mudryk plays a smart one-two on the left and he appears to be clean through for Ukraine.

He has the option to shoot but chooses to cut it back instead, allowing John Stones to nip in and intercept. The flag is up anyway.

David: Clever approach from Ukraine. They've slowed the game down to a very slow tempo that suits them. England seem to do better in a high pressing, faster game (like the Italy match). This is far too ponderous.

It falls on his left foot and it's a difficult finish but you still expect him to score. He just got it wrong on that occasion but you don't often say that about him.

Bukayo Saka has been lively on the right wing. His quick feet earns a throw-in and England take it quickly before switching it across the back.

Bukayo Saka curls in a cross from the right and the Ukraine goalkeeper drops it. James Maddison reacts to try and poke it over the line but he's penalised for fouling Anatoliy Trubin in the process.

Roman Yaremchuk makes a run in between the two England centre-backs and he's picked out but the flag goes up for offside as he drags it wide of the far post from close range.

Jude Bellingham is tripped on the edge of the Ukraine box but the referee allows play to go on. Ukraine look to counter, sending it long for Mykhailo Mudryk but it's gone straight out of play.

Ukraine are being backed by a large and colourful contingent of their fans, who are letting out huge roars whenever they advance anywhere near England's goal.
