Man Utd 0-0 Brighton
Brighton may be keeping United at bay but Lucia Garcia, Alessia Russo and Leah Galton are trying to get in behind.
A long ball comes over the top towards the Spaniard but she just can't reach it. Garcia would've been through on goal there.
Man Utd 0-0 Brighton
Brighton are full of energy and putting Manchester United under a lot of pressure from the off. Will the hosts be able to find a way through? They haven't yet.

It is indeed a 4-4-2 for Brighton today, with Lee and Terland up front. Quite a change from the 5-4-1 they played under Amy Merricks against United two weeks ago.
Melissa Phillips clearly wants her new charges to have a go as they aim to cause an upset and reach the FA Cup final.
Man Utd 0-0 Brighton
A relatively slow start to this one. The hosts have had the most of the ball and are building into it.
The blue Rugby League markings are still clear on the pitch, with Leigh Leopards of the Super League also playing at this ground.

There is a lot of history to this fixture for United - Brighton away in 2018-19 was their first ever Women's FA Cup fixture.
A total of 764 fans watched at Broadfield Stadium as United triumphed 2-0, thanks to two goals from a 17-year-old by the name of Lauren James. Whatever happened to her.
United reached the quarter-finals before losing to Reading. They are one step further this time - and would love to go one more.

Manchester United boss Marc Skinner to BBC Two, on replacing Vilde Boe Risa with Lucia Garcia: "Lucia has been excellent and really has deserved a start. There's some thought behind whether she's been impacting, she's been impacting brilliantly.
"She has the ability to go one-v-one against anyone in the league and really give the momentum we want.
"I thought Vilde was good in the game [against Brighton before the international break], picked up some really good positions, but we've just had a slight adaptation in tactics."

After some typical Manchester weather yesterday (pouring rain), we have been blessed by beautiful sunshine in the north west today.
Hopefully it will stay that way until at least quarter past seven this evening.

Things couldn't be going much worse for Brighton.
They currently prop up the WSL and haven't won a league game since September.
Cup form is the only thing which can add some positivity to their campaign at the moment with wins over West Brom, Coventry and Birmingham helping them to reach this stage.
Will it be another drubbing this evening, or could the new-manager bounce lead to an upset?

Brighton manager Melissa Phillips, speaking to BBC Two: "It's about bringing the group together and learning myself and understanding where we're at and where we need to go. We've had a lot of really good conversations about building an identity and belief within the group. There's a lot of opportunity left in the season. We want to make a good account of ourselves, both today and in the league fixtures."

Brighton are bottom of the Women's Super League with only nine points from 15 games.
Melissa Phillips has now been handed the reins to become Brighton's third permanent boss and try and guide the Seagulls out of the relegation battle.
It's Phillips' third job of the season after a two-game stint as assistant boss of Angel City in California, after managing Championship promotion hopefuls London City Lionesses earlier in the year.

It really is a massive five days for United at LSV - on Wednesday they host Arsenal here in a battle between two of the four WSL title contenders.
Manager Marc Skinner - who has had his contract extended until 2024 - will hope to have today's game against the league's bottom side wrapped up early in order to preserve energy for a huge match.

Plenty of Manchester United flags on display on the terraces, including love for Millie Turner, Leah Galton and Katie Zelem.
Also great to see representation for Rainbow Devils, United's official LGBTQ+ fan group.
