Almost a bit of luck!

Bono, the Sevilla keeper, is almost caught out by a drifting Marcel Sabitzer cross that floats just past the far top corner of the goal.

West Ham United

West Ham manager David Moyes, speaking to BT Sport, says: "A draw away from home in Europe, you would nearly almost take that. I expected better but a draw gives us a chance in the second leg.

"They were very physical, very strong, a few decisions didn't go our way. We started quite well but after that we never really did enough to threaten them.

"It [the Gent goal] looked a really poor goal and too easy for them to wriggle through into the box. We didn't win enough first or second balls, basic things. We seemed to lose out in the physical side and that was disappointing.

"This will be a really tough game next week, we're up against a decent side."

What a fantastic pass by Sancho, this is what I really like about Sabitzer. He is a midfield player but he makes runs into the area.

It was a very very good finish, out of reach from Bono and fully deserved.

What a great move, it started on the left hand side with Martial who backheeled it into Casemiro and then Sancho passed it to Sabitzer. I'm really happy for him scoring this goal, he has been fantastic in the last two weeks.

Marcel Sabitzer has his second goal in his ninth start for Man Utd. It was wondered how he might fit in after joining in January, but he has established himself in this side. A very useful signing.

United are warming up to this. A move that involves Anthony Martial and Jason Sancho ends with Antony firing an effort that Yassine Bounou tips wide.

Great opportunity for the home side.

They drive forward in numbers. Antony has the ball on the right and cuts inside to find a team-mate, but the next pass towards Marcel Sabitzer is cut out.

Rightly so, the referee called Montiel back and showed him the yellow card because he picked the ball up and threw it away. Good refereeing.

Lisandro Martinez somewhat gifts Sevilla a corner but the visitors are unable to make anything of it. They gave it a good go, though. Ivan Rakitic sends it to the edge of the box for a blocked shot before Gonzalo Montiel rifles an effort that deflects back to him.

Bizarrely, the World Cup winner handles the ball and gets a deserved booking. He's now going to miss the second leg. Crazy act.

Sevilla waste a free-kick as Ivan Rakitic boots the ball high towards nobody in the home box. Dreadful.

Another little sighter for Sevilla.

It comes from a long throw and ends with Nemanja Gudelj slipping and slicing a shot wide.

They don't look the quickest up top. A bit lumbering.

West Ham United

West Ham goalscorer Danny Ings, speaking to BT Sport, says: "We came into the game knowing there would be times where we would have to suffer. The fans here were electric and it was difficult to control the game so I think the draw is a fair result.

"We just didn't find a rhythm, we lost too many second balls and made it difficult for ourselves. We didn't pass the ball enough so not a great performance but we didn't lose the game so there are positives.

"It has been years since I last played in Europe and nice to get a goal but I'm still disappointed with the way we played as a team.

"I think we were all unhappy at half-time, we didn't move the ball well enough. In the last 10 minutes it was difficult so to come away with a draw, there's lots to improve on next week."

Sevilla's first dart forward comes to nothing. It was promising for a moment as Ivan Rakitic swings a ball wide right but Lucas Ocampos is forced away from goal and robbed of possession.

I would say Man United are favourites and I expect them to win this. If you progress the way that they have this season, it is getting better and better and better.

When you play a team like Sevilla who are struggling badly, I expect Man United to win and score goals.

I don't expect them to finish the tie today but I expect them to score goals and be in a good position for next Thursday, that is the minimum expectation for today.

The corner is poor. Played to the edge of the box and easily cleared by Sevilla.

Manchester United have started like they mean business. They're on the ball and looking to dictate matters.

Anthony Martial looks to get in down the right and forces a corner.

No doubt about the offside but what a great start.

It all came from Bono trying to kick the ball long. He is not very good at it and he has proven that early on.

That bodes well for Manchester United. They cut Sevilla wide open there.
