    England 0-1 Australia

Well, not England's best half of football by any means.

They will be disappointed to have conceded that goal after a bit of a howler from Leah Williamson.

Even though they've probably seen the better of the chances it has been sloppy and at times lacking intensity from the Lionesses.

They'll want to tighten things up in the second period.

It's an absolute nightmare playing against Sam Kerr.

I always say Sam Kerr is the most dangerous when you are attacking.

You could be ball-watching as your side is up the pitch, and suddenly she is gone and away.

We're into three minutes of added time at the end of this half. England probably just want to get into the dressing room.

Sam Kerr has run Leah Williamson ragged this half. Not a great 45 minutes for the England captain.

Lauren James has had enough and decides to go for goal herself.

She gets away from two players and fires one off, decent effort but it's over the bar.

Close one again for Leah Williamson.

This time she picks up the ball and is running back towards her own goal under pressure from Sam Kerr. It's a tense one but she manages to shepherd the ball to Mary Earps who boots it clear.

    Nervy stuff from England.

    England 0-1 Australia

England just looking a bit sluggish, to be honest.

Lucy Bronze sends in a cross from close to the half-way line but Alessia Russo is offside.

Tameka Yallop is going to have to come off after that coming together with Chloe Kelly.

    Courtney Vine replaces her.

    England 0-1 Australia

Australia's Tameka Yallop is on the floor needing a bit of treatment. She went for the challenge on Chloe Kelly down the right-hand side and it looks like she has come off worse and just caught her leg on the England winger.

England have got to learn how to react to adversity, how to come back from being one or two goals down.

Not every game is going to be plain sailing. They will have difficult spells and teams will set up differently against them.

They will also have to be clinical with their chances, as Australia have been - one chance and one goal.

England have perhaps had the better of the chances in this first half but there have been some sloppy mistakes.

Sarina Wiegman will be telling her players to tidy up at the break.

It's a mistake from Leah Williamson.

She probably thought she'd be able to get more power on that header back to Mary Earps.

But you can't switch off with Sam Kerr around. She's such a danger, she stays alive to everything. Such a calm composed finish over the top of Mary Earps' left shoulder.

Leah Williamson will be very disappointed with that.

A bit of a messy goal to concede that. Not great from Leah Williamson, could Mary Earps have got a bit tighter?

Watching the replay I think VAR would have had something to say about it, too as Sam Kerr looked just offside.

Oh Leah Williamson will not want to watch that back. She left Mary Earps no chance.

It’s not often you hear cheers in a home ground for a goal scored against England but Sam Kerr’s popularity here in London means there were definitely a few.

She only needs one chance. England punished. Now, can they respond again to keep their unbeaten record?

    Sam Kerr (32 mins)

    Oh no.

Australia whip the cross in and Leah Williamson looks like she has it under control but she heads down and back towards Mary Earps. There's not enough on it from the Lionesses captain and it's so easy for Sam Kerr to just pick it up and dink over Mary Earps.

You can not give Kerr opportunities like that.

England playing short from corners is just playing into Mackenzie Arnold's strengths.

I think if they go direct and get players in and around her, she may try and go for a ball that isn't there, which could create an opening for England.

    England make the change.

That's a shame for Lauren Hemp, she was just starting to find her groove in the game but on comes Lauren James. What can she offer?

England are waiting to bring on Lauren James for Lauren Hemp but they do just have control of the ball at the moment so we're just waiting for a break in play for James to come on.

It looks like Lauren Hemp is coming off here. Lucy Bronze immediately gestured to the bench to take her off. She’s wearing a face mask after hurting her nose in the Brazil game. Looks like she’s struggling with it despite playing superbly so far.
