• Aston Villa have lost their two away matches against Reading in the WSL, conceding exactly three goals on both occasions (3-1 in September 2020 and 3-0 in October 2021).
• Reading have lost all 10 of their matches against teams currently in the top half of the table in this season’s WSL – they are the only side yet to earn a point against any of those sides.
• After winning four consecutive league matches between February and March, Aston Villa are since winless in three games (D1 L2), conceding three goals in each match.
• Reading have earned 11 points in the WSL this season, with each point being won in home matches. Although they are bottom of the league, three sides have won fewer points at home than the Royals (P9 W3 D2 L4).

Nikita Parris is there to pick up on any errors from Tottenham. It was poorly defended, they don't get the clearance. Kerys Harrop and Shelina Zadorsky aren't sure who is doing what job.

Parris is definitely sure of how to do her job and fires it into the back of the net for 3-0.

This has been one of Ella Toone's best games, she has been causing problems for the Tottenham backline.

That goal is the one thing she is lacking at the moment.

Wembley hero Ella Toone loses her marker so easily for the umpteenth time, just a lovely little turn. Alessia Russo then has a shot well saved at the near post.

Tottenham haven't had a season they will want to replicate next year.

Last season they finished 5th but now they need to kick on.

They need to find what makes them tick and get results.

Manchester United are probably happy to just feel their way into the second half.

The game should be won but it is about not making any errors which give Tottenham a little bit of hope to get back into it.

United have controlled the game almost entirely but as long as Spurs have Bethany England up top they're in with a shout.

Tottenham definitely do need the points, their only hope is that the other teams around them don't pick up points.

It is such an exciting end to the season at both ends.

While there's a whole host of contenders for the WSL trophy, there's only two players in contention for this season's golden boot award.

The race is currently being won by Manchester City's Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw, who has 18 goals to her name - one more than nearest competitor Rachel Daly.

Unlike City, Aston Villa aren't pushing for the league title and may have more freedom to help Daly in her individual quest for the prize.

"She's so hungry to get that golden boot," Villa boss Carla Ward said. "We'll give her every possibility and every chance to get there."
