Even though they are getting dragged all over the pitch, somehow whether it's because Man United are not being clinical or ruthless enough, they are managing to block most efforts within that six-yard box.

Spurs manager Vicky Jepson allows herself a smile on the sideline but her side are second best at the moment. More good play from Ella Toone opens them up but again, for now, the final ball isn't quite there.

Manchester United's movement is just so good.

The delivery wasn't good enough but there were three players in the box and they are committing plenty of players forwards for the attack.

Ella Toone nicks the ball back to start another Manchester United attack. Hannah Blundell arrives on the overlap, her cross/shot at the near post is well held again by the alert Tinja-Riikka Korpela who is having a blinder in the Tottenham goal thus far.

Tottenham can't get out. They clear a corner away but every player is behind the ball so the pressure can just mount once more.

Tottenham have got good players and if you look at their bench, they've got a good squad.

They just haven't found a way to make their style and formation tick at the moment and they haven't been able to get results.

Ella Toone is everywhere for United at the moment, running in behind and finding Nikita Parris but she scuffs her shot wide.

Tinja-Riikka Korpela made a brilliant save, point blank range and she doesn't give Nikita Parris a chance, even though it was offside.

There's nothing worse as a goalkeeper when you made a fantastic save and the flag goes up so I'm going to give her the credit.

Another great save from Tinja-Riikka Korpela denies Nikita Parris! She arrives on a cross at the far post and her header is somehow kept out, though the offside flag was raised anyway.

Superb start to this game. Manchester United rally down the other end with Alessia Russo slamming in an angled drive from just inside the area. Tinja-Riikka Korpela flings herself to her left and claws it away.

Tottenham cut Man United's defence apart - they're just beaten by slightly better defending from Maya Le Tissier.

Bethany England took it round Earps and just took it a bit wide. Le Tissier made an outstanding block to keep it at 0-0.

Oh and it's so close to the opener! Spurs this time with the threat as in-form Bethany England is played in on goal, she does well to dance around Mary Earps but just when a tap-in is on the cards Maya Le Tissier slides in to make a superb, goal-saving challenge.

Better from Spurs, who attack with purpose as Celin Bizet Ildhusoy puts in a cross which is hooked out, Molly Bartrip then strides on and hits a shot from range which is straight at Mary Earps.

She probably hasn't scored as many as she would want to this season but she is a constant threat and links up really well with Alessia Russo.

Ella Toone with more neat footwork to get a shot away as United pile on this early pressure. Spurs just about clear their lines from the corner. They're hanging on already.

Manchester United dominating the early play and there's a great chance! A lovely ball in from Ona Batlle picks out Leah Galton at the near post, it looks sure to be the opener but a defender somehow gets a touch on it to turn it away!

That will be key to this game for Tottenham, keeping a clean sheet for as long as possible. Don't let Man United score early, keep yourself in the game, otherwise it will be a huge uphill task.
