    Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa

    Chance for Wolves.

Diego Costa chests the ball down to Matheus Cunha on the edge of the box but his volley goes over the bar.

That's the first real opening for the home side since their early goal.

  2. 'Leeds don't want to suffer a huge defeat'published at 15:44 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder for BBC Radio 5 Live

This is such a big game for Leeds United. Mentally, they don't want to suffer a huge defeat. That could be so damming.

Question marks are already being asked about whether they can get any results in the remainder of their games, I personally think they can.

  3. Postpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

Leeds get some respite with a free-kick just inside the City half. They get some men forward to try and fashion something and Marc Roca pumps it straight out of play.

Sam Allardyce's disgusted face says it all.

He says something that ends with "waste" and has another word I can't repeat before it.

Costa v MingsImage source, Getty Images

Tyrone Mings v Diego Costa has been quite the battle so far and the pair get into a bit of a shoving match in the middle of the pitch.

The situation is quickly diffused though and both players hug and make up.

  5. Postpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

Leeds simply aren't making a dent in this game. They can barely get a touch. It's not sticking up top at all.

It could end up being a case of just how greedy City want to be.

    Remember, Real Madrid await midweek.

  6. Postpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

    They very nearly did, Andrew!

Joachim Andersen chests down a lofted free-kick to the far post and his lob loops over Fraser Forster and onto the roof of the net.

Half hour gone and we (Spurs) haven't conceded! What is going on?

  8. 'You're Leeds and you know you are'published at 15:38 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

"You're Leeds and you know you are" sing the away fans after that rare mis-fire by Erling Haaland... about the Yorkshire-born Norwegian striker, who seems to be pretty happy in sky-blue.

Haaland was actually born a few days after his dad left Leeds to join City in 2000, just don't tell the Leeds supporters that.

  9. Postpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Bournemouth 1-1 Chelsea

Noni Madueke continues to offer Chelsea hope going forward.

He weaves into space again in the Cherries box before firing a low shot straight at Neto.

  10. Postpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Some neat build-up play from Tottenham very nearly tees up Son Heung-Min on the edge of the box, but Cheick Doucoure does brilliantly to stretch and intercept the pass.

You would have backed Son to at least hit the target there.

Does Big Sam still think he's better than Pep? Leeds are being humiliated here.

    David G

Come on Sam make a masterpiece tactical change and win this game, prove your point of being just as good a manager as Pep.

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

Erling Haaland gets another sight of goal.

He has just Joel Robles to beat, with a defender close by but he taps the ball with his standing foot and badly slices the ball out of play.

He allows himself a little smile. When you've already bagged 51 times in a season, you can take the odd fluffed effort.

  13. Postpublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa

    Chance!

Ollie Watkins is all on his own on the edge of the six yard box as he meets Jacob Ramsey's cross from the right, but he can only head the ball straight at Jose Sa.

Watkins has his head in his hands. He knows that was a great opportunity.

  14. Postpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Bournemouth 1-1 Chelsea

    This is closely-contested mid-table affair.

Bournemouth go close as a cross into the middle is met by Ryan Christie, but he can only nod his effort wide.

  15. Postpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa

Ollie Watkins gets his first sight of goal as Emiliano Buendia chips a cross from the right towards the far post. The Villa striker cannot get a head on the ball though and when it loops back into the air his attempted overhead kick goes wide.

Watkins took a blow to the head and needs a bit of treatment by the physio, but he is fine to carry on.

  16. 'Not many teams can live with Man City'published at 15:32 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder for BBC Radio 5 Live

We've seen a really strong, positive start from Manchester City.

There's not many teams who can live with them, even with these changes.

    Ilkay GundoganImage source, Getty Images

Liz: We cannot, cannot, CANNOT, allow Ilkay Gundogan to leave the club. At 32, he is at peak. He has years more at this level. It would be a shoddy piece of business not to give him the contract. Wonderful player.

  18. Postpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Bournemouth 1-1 Chelsea

    Sidenetting!

Noni Madueke has looked lively so far. He weaves his way in down the right to get a sight of goal, albeit from a tight angle. He looks to fire in but sends the ball to wrong side of the near post.

No Leeds fan truly thought we'd get something from this. If City can demolish Arsenal, it's blatantly obvious they'll stroll through us.

    Karl, Rotterdam

Two seasons ago Leeds were everyone's favourite second team. We were as likely to lose as to win but we feared no one and played every game with belief. Now we're reduced to sitting back and hoping (in vain) to keep the score down. Heartbreaking...

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

    Andy Hinchcliffe
Former Man City and Everton defender on Sky Sports

    Sensational finish by Gundogan.

He's playing as a holding midfielder but, because City are dominating, he is playing halfway inside the Leeds half.

It is not about power, it is about precision. Devastating.
