He has just Joel Robles to beat, with a defender close by but he taps the ball with his standing foot and badly slices the ball out of play.

He allows himself a little smile. When you've already bagged 51 times in a season, you can take the odd fluffed effort.

Ollie Watkins is all on his own on the edge of the six yard box as he meets Jacob Ramsey's cross from the right, but he can only head the ball straight at Jose Sa.

Watkins has his head in his hands. He knows that was a great opportunity.

This is closely-contested mid-table affair.

Bournemouth go close as a cross into the middle is met by Ryan Christie, but he can only nod his effort wide.

Ollie Watkins gets his first sight of goal as Emiliano Buendia chips a cross from the right towards the far post. The Villa striker cannot get a head on the ball though and when it loops back into the air his attempted overhead kick goes wide.

Watkins took a blow to the head and needs a bit of treatment by the physio, but he is fine to carry on.
