    Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa

Ollie Watkins is booked for catching Max Kilman with his elbow as they went for a high ball.

Watkins only had eyes for the ball there so it is nothing more than a booking.

Kilman needs some treatment but it looks like he will be OK to continue.

If Chelsea give Madueke game time and the correct set of players, he can really be the Bellingham or Foden at Chelsea. He’s basically doing what Pulisic has tried to do for the past three years.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

Erling Haaland could have had a hat-trick here.

His latest effort is a low shot that kisses the outside of the post before going wide.

You can only really marvel at how good this City side is. They're not playing at full steam here, but it remains utterly dominant.

    Tottenham 1-0 Crystal Palace

Pedro Porro fires in a fizzing effort from the right-hand side of the area that Sam Johnstone punches away with one hand. He didn't dare try and catch the ball given how much it swerved.

    Tottenham building up some momentum.

    Bournemouth 1-1 Chelsea

Bournemouth have found ways to win games in recent weeks. Can they find one here?

Ryan Christie goes close to giving them the lead with a neat touch to beat a Chelsea man in the Blues box and then a rising shot just past the post of Kepa's goal.

Son Heung-Min is furious with Pedro Porro as the full-back cuts inside and opts to shoot instead of laying the ball off, with Son and Richarlison in dangerous positions.

Moments earlier Son had brilliantly to get his head on the ball and cut out Eberechi Eze's searching pass as Palace looked to counter-attack.

Previously Liverpool took City to the wire, this season Arsenal are still very much in it. It's hardly a one-way street. When Pep goes there will be a leadership contest again, just like with Sir Alex.

Definite problem. Ake is just getting ice on his leg, there is something there on a muscle.

Chelsea have started the better in this second half.

A corner causes a bit of a scramble in the Cherries box before the home side smuggle the ball away.

If City's dominance continues like this, there is no way Leeds are going to score and it will only be a question of how many City score.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

This is potential problem for City - Nathan Ake is down and holding his thigh. Understandably, they take no chances and take him off, with Kyle Walker replacing him.

Tottenham are living dangerously here as they very nearly get caught on the counter.

Wilfried Zaha escapes down the left and then finds Eberechi Eze in the middle, who shoots wide. But if he had let the ball go Michael Olise was in an even better position at the far post.

He's had that much intent, getting into the penalty area, he's nearly pushed the goal down!

Have to laugh at the narrative of 'Do City fans enjoy this?'. Did United fans enjoy winning 13 out of 20 league titles and 2 European Cups? Did Liverpool enjoy winning as many titles in the 70's and 80's as well as a handful of European Cups? Of course they did. The only ones who don't like it are those that don't want City to win and coincidentally, they often support those two aforementioned clubs!

    Tottenham 1-0 Crystal Palace

That was very nearly a brilliant equaliser for Crystal Palace.

Wilfried Zaha controls Eberechi Eze's cross from the right and bends a shot just over the angle of post and bar with Fraser Forster beaten.
