    Manchester City

Here's Manchester City's Jack Grealish speaking to Sky Sports:

"It is different for me personally, I have played more of a part. I feel back to my normal self.

"Last season was nice because it was the first one but this year it is so nice as I feel I have played more of a part.

"It is mad. I spoke to some of the lads not a while ago and said imagine you have to win 12 games in a row to win the league. We have so much talent and we feel unstoppable.

"I feel so much more confident in this team. I feel fitter and back to what I know, what I can do. This is why Man City bought me and I have so much to offer.

"It doesn't stop yet, we still have some massive games left.

"Especially since the last international break, we feel unstoppable and we have been unbelievable."

Bobby Seagull: Last season, Klopp's incredible Liverpool were so close to a quadruple (both domestic cups). Man City were trailing 2-0 Villa on final day and Courtois worldies Vs Liverpool in Champions League final. The margins between success and perceived failure so thin...

A fifth Premier League title for Phil Foden - at the age of 22. Remarkable.

The likes of Nathan Ake, meanwhile, has won the title every year since he joined the club. Dominance.

Now it's all about the treble for City. Is the Champions League final against Inter Milan the toughest game or is it the FA Cup final against Manchester United?

Everyone said the winner of Man City and Real Madrid was going to win the Champions League but that's not a good mentality to have.

But Manchester United will be desperate to put one over them in the FA Cup final.

City one of, if not the greatest Premier League teams ever? Come off it. Wake me up when you win 21 league titles.

VikAZ: It's been fascinating watching City evolve under Soriano, Beguiristain & Pep's guidance. The foundations to be a force in England & Europe for decades to come are now fully set.

Julian Alvarez's winner meant Manchester City scored 100 goals at the Etihad this season, equalling the record - set by themselves in 2018-19 - for most home goals scored in all competitions in a single season by an English top-flight club.

Despite seeing his starts limited, Alvarez (17 goals) is Manchester City’s second-highest goalscorer in all competitions this season, behind only Erling Haaland (52).

At the Etihad, the Argentine has been directly involved in 15 goals across his 12 starts.

Manchester City trailed Arsenal by eight points on 7 April - although they had played one game fewer than Mikel Arteta's leaders at that point.

It is only the fourth time that a team has been as many as eight points clear after at least 28 Premier League games and failed to win the title.

But City won 11 league games in a row as their title rivals faltered - dropping just two points from a possible 42 - to overhaul Arsenal and clinch a fifth title in six years.

  16. 'City are relentless'published at 18:16 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

City are relentless and they are outstanding.

They will make changes to this squad over the summer, Gundogan and Silva could go, but they will still be tough to stop next season.

  17. 'Rest assured we are not finished'published at 18:14 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

    Manchester City

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker told Sky Sports: "We always believed we could do this. This group of lad are professionals and winners.

"Rest assured we are not finished. We have the FA Cup against our bitter rivals and then the Champions League.

"We will celebrate tonight and then move on to try and create history.

"The treble would be fantastic but there is a lot of football to be played.

"To say we are up there with one of the greatest Premier League teams of all time we have to conquer some of that.

"To go and achieve that we could then start talking about being one of the greatest teams in the Premier League."

Congratulations to Manchester City joining the four other great football teams to have won the league title three time in a row - Huddersfield Town, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.

    Chris

Arsenal May have fallen away, but had they not challenged City, they would have won the title weeks ago. The other big clubs need to look at themselves and avoid a similar embarrassment next season.

Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips speaking to Sky Sports, after making his first Premier League start for the club:

"It was a great feeling. I was happy because we won the league and I knew there might be a chance I could play. I have enjoyed every moment.

"It has been unbelievably tough this season and probably the lowest point confidence wise in my career.

"But Kyle Walker and the guys have kept me going and told me I would get my chance.

"I have tried to be as fit as possible and whenever I get the chance I try to do my best."
