That's why you play out from the back. It came from goalkeeper Jason Steele.

It has almost moved to the right and then darted back to the left. It is an absolutely beautiful strike.

    Julio Enciso

    Stunning!

Julio Enciso is given space 25 yards from goal and he takes full advantage as he bends a sublime shot right into the top corner.

It prompts a little synchronised dance celebration that is perhaps a tad cheesy but when you score a goal of that quality you have license to do what you want.

    Superb.

Tom: It’s so interesting that Mahrez was involved in so much on Sunday and yet in this line up including KDB he’s had little influence at all.

Russell: If Haaland scores an own goal, does that count as +1, -1 or no impact on his season total?

Martin: If they ever make a movie about Roberto de Zerbi, surely Daniel Mays is the perfect fit for the role?

    Phil Foden

    The visitors break the deadlock!

Erling Haaland has missed a couple of good chances but this is brilliant and unselfish play by the striker.

First, he plays the ball back to Riyad Mahrez and then times a run superbly to break clear of the defence for the return pass. He gets into the box and rounds Jason Steele, but with two Brighton players having got back to cover Haaland instead feeds Phil Foden, who drives the ball home despite Jan Paul van Hecke's best attempt to clear.

Dan: I'm still baffled as to why Premier League goalkeepers are obsessed with passing it out from the back under pressure. Just boot it up the pitch!

This time he powers away from Jan Paul van Hecke to get into the box but a slightly heavy touch gives Jason Steele enough of an invitation to scramble and save at the striker's feet.
