There hasn't been a great deal for the home fans to cheer about, but there were huge rounds of applause when some of the players leaving Brighton this summer were involved in substitutions.

Danielle Carter and Victoria Williams have come on for what will be their farewell appearances, while Kayleigh Green has made way, her final minute for the club - for now, at least - played.

Carter almost scored when Dejana Stefanovic set her up as the clock ticked past 90, but her shot was blocked.

Worth pointing out Leicester will leapfrog Brighton if they hold on for all three points.

Decent achievement that, considering they looked doomed halfway through the season.

This Chelsea team have done a really professional job today, in total control throughout.

You've got to feel for Reading, but take nothing away from Chelsea.

Fully deserved win and WSL champions yet again.

Seagulls sub Veatriki Sarri then drags a chance wide of the near post as the hosts find a second wind late on. Is it too late to rescue a point though?

That's it - Chelsea are WSL champions yet again!

They celebrate but it's disappointment for Reading as their relegation is confirmed.
