Honorable mention for Özil, Ballack and Klinsmann but completely agree with Tom (16:28). Gündogan a fairly unassuming signing from Dortmund who's quietly been key to everything City have done for years. They must do anything they can to keep him or risk a big drop off in quality.

Tim Fields: Some of Ten Hag’s substitutions are still questionable. Where’s the attack and drive. Rashford has been almost non existent in the game.
VikAZ: Stones and Alexander Arnold adding value to their clubs' midfields. Potential there for England?

Into the final minute and Nathan Ake is on for Jack Grealish.
Four centre-halves on for Manchester City as they look to protect their lead.

I think we can all work out who the man of the match is going to be.
Man City 2-1 Man Utd
Lovely flick with the outside of the boot by Jack Grealish to send Ilkay Gundogan away down the left. The midfield gets into the box and tries to find Phil Foden but Luke Shaw defends well to prevent the midfielder's shot hitting the target.

There are 83,179 inside Wembley to see the first all-Manchester FA Cup final. And it's the supporters in blue who are making all the noise as they roar their team towards the finishing line. Will United produce a moment of late drama? Two minutes plus stoppages left.

If anyone is going to create an opening for Manchester United here it is Alejandro Garnacho.
He is not afraid to run at opponents, which clearly causes problems.
Most of the time, Manchester City look content to let United have the ball because they are going down blind alleys.

Garnacho has made a huge difference.
That was a fine run to get into the box and create a half chance but Rodri, who has been a rock all season, was in the way.

Four minutes of normal time remaining. I feel there's been a number of critical comments about Wout Weghort's introduction that could come back to bite the authors...
Manchester United are on the attack now.

Tom in London (16:28) has overlooked the sublime Pascal Gross, easily the most consistent German ever to grace the Premier League. It's ok, Brighton are well used to be overlooked!

Re Tom (16:28) in London for greatest Germans to have played in the PL - are we forgetting Uwe Rosler?

Erling Haaland could become the first Norwegian to score in an FA Cup final and he has the opportunity to get on the scoresheet now as he shows good feet on the edge of the area but his shot is blocked and then bounces back off him to go out for a goal kick.

City bring on Foden, United bring on Weghorst. Nothing could show the gap between these two teams more than those substitutions.
Jamie, London.
United create enough chances to make the keeper earn his pay ... but don't get nearly enough on target.

Man City 2-1 Man Utd
Another change for Manchester United as Scott McTominay replaces Victor Lindelof.
Manchester United (10) have only had one fewer shot than Manchester City so far (11), though their only shot on target remains Bruno Fernandes' converted penalty in the 33rd minute.
Man City 2-1 Man Utd
Stefan Ortega takes a bit too long with a goal kick for Paul Tierney's liking and he is booked.

Trebles don't come easy but it's about the small margins and key moments in these finals.
Man City 2-1 Man Utd
Bernardo Silva smashes the ball across the face of goal and it just evades Manuel Akanji's outstretched boot.
Into the final 10 minutes and there's tension in the stands now.

In reply to Tom (16:28), no Bernhard Carl "Bert" Trautmann was probably the best German to play in the top league in England, and with a broken neck in the final!
Alan
Re 16:28, surely Ballack has to be up there as one of the greatest Germans to play in England!?

Wout Weghorst has taken so much criticism since his arrival at Manchester United in January.
He has 12 minutes to make himself a hero.
