    Spain 2-1 Sweden

It's now or never for Sweden.

They have a free-kick just inside the area and there's a bit of a scrap in the box. The referee says it's a free-kick to Spain and Sweden are furious. Don't think there was anything in there for a penalty but perhaps not enough for a free-kick either. Sweden wanted to play on.

    What a response from Spain.

Carmona had a few chances from far out in the first half and didn't capitalise. But she sees the space in front of her and takes the chance to have a go.

Terrific effort, unfortunate for Musovic who I think got a hand to it.

Sweden will be so disappointed to concede like that. They had to close that down.

GOAL - Spain 2-1 Swedenpublished at 10:46 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Olga Carmona (89 mins)

    WHAT DRAMA!

Well it comes from a corner which misses everyone and comes out to the captain, Olga Carmona right on the edge of the area.

She absolutely smacks it with her left foot and it hammers off the underside of the bar and into the net.

What a strike to potentially put Spain in their first World Cup final.

Should Zecira Musovic have done better?

    Spain won't care.

Rebecka Blomqvist, the substitute, levels things up for Sweden, latching on to another substitute, Lina Hurtig's header and poking into the opposite corner.

  18. 'A real cool finish'published at 10:39 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Spain 1-0 Sweden

    Sue Smith
Former England international on BBC One

Paralluelo has been absolutely brilliant since she came on.

Always positive, always looking forward, and looking to beat defenders.

She gets into a good position in the box then, and her first thought is to see if she can get a shot on target, which she does.

A real cool finish from the youngster.

  19. goal

GOAL - Spain 1-0 Swedenpublished at 10:37 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Salma Paralluelo (80 mins)

    BREAKTHROUGH!

Finally, we have a goal in this semi-final and it's Salma Paralluelo once again!

She has been such a bright spark since she has come on. A really poor clearance in the box from Jonna Andersson and it's straight to the 19-year-old's feet.

She does so well to sort her feet and it's a lovely right-foot slotted finish into the bottom right corner.

What a time to do it, too. Have Spain put one foot in the final?

  20. Postpublished at 10:37 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

Salma Paralluelo arrives into the area but it's a yellow wall in front of her.

With no options she has no chance but to have a go but it's inevitably blocked by the defender in front of her.
