  1. 'Sweden are rattled'published at 09:16 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

    Gilly Flaherty
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Wow, what a strike!

How close that is, maybe a few centimetres. Olga Carmona with a beautiful left foot strike.

Zecira Musovic wasn't expecting that at all. Sweden are a little bit rattled here.

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

Goal kick and Sweden head up the other end with pace, decent ball in and Johanna Rytting Kaneyrd gets a header on it but it was an awkward one. Sort of with the back of her head and it's a poor effort in the end.

She may have just strayed offside, anyway.

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

    Gilly Flaherty
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

All of a sudden it is very exciting which is what you want.

Jonna Andersson switched off at the back post, Sweden managed to deal with it eventually after a few scuffed attempts.

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

Spain are just starting to press now, good build-up play again and Olga Carmona whips in a low but powerful shot from just outside the area which is just wide.

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

    Neil Johnston

I'm sat next to the Sweden media guy in the press box at Eden Park. He's already apologised to me in advance for struggling to contain his emotions should the Swedes score. It's been a cagey start but that's hardly surprising considering the huge prize on offer.

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

Decent play from Spain and that was the first real sniff of a chance they've had.

Good run down the left-hand side and the ball comes in, Alba Rodondo heads it back across goal but it's a crowded penalty area filled with yellow shirts and it's one of those that eventually manages to head away the danger.

  7. 'Sweden will press when the time is right'published at 09:10 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

    Gilly Flaherty
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Spain are a possession-based team.

I think they will see Jonna Andersson on the right-hand side as the area they can target.

Sweden are happy with Spain having the ball and then they will press when the time is right.

Still waiting for either side to really put their mark on this one.

Spain seeing more of the ball, as you might expect.

Just looking at Sweden, when Spain have the ball they are looking to be very organised and compact.

They are almost challenging them, 'Go on, try to break us down.'

Sweden captain Kosovare Asllani is alert to the loose ball but plays it straight back to Spanish feet.

Every time Spain goalkeeper Cata Coll has the ball Stina Blackstenius is putting her under so much pressure. She races across the field to make her presence known as Coll tries to play out from the back.

  11. 'Blackstenius needs to be more selfish at times'published at 09:05 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

    Sue Smith
Former England international on BBC One

I would have liked to see Blackstenius be a bit more selfish on that attack.

Instead she moved back inside and tried to play in a teammate.

I think she should have tried to go one on one with the defender there.

Opportunity for Sweden as Olga Carmona gives the ball away in her own half but Stina Blackstenius wasn't quite sure what to do with it and it was a weak pass to Fridolina Rolfo.

In the last game against Japan, that was the best Sweden have played in the tournament but Japan sat off and let them do their build-up play.

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

Spain win the ball back in the middle of the park but both sides just trying to work their way into this one.

La Roja are happy to just keep the ball, play their famous possession style of play and settle some nerves.

  16. 'Can't call this one'published at 09:01 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Spain 0-0 Sweden

    Sue Smith
Former England international on BBC One

It's so tough to call isn't it?

Two teams with very different styles, and I suppose it will come down to who can execute their plan the best.

Spain will have a lot of the ball, Sweden good on the counter and really good on set pieces - both teams will be well aware of each other's strengths.

    I couldn't call this one.

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 09:00 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

Will it be Spain or Sweden in Sunday's final?

  18. 'Hoping for an exciting game'published at 08:59 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Spain v Sweden (09:00 BST)

    Gilly Flaherty
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I can't imagine how those players are feeling.

Both teams have had a good tournament and grown as the tournament has gone on so I'm really hoping for an exciting game today.

National anthems, flag displays and other pleasantries are done.

    It's time for business.

  20. 'Blackstenius has a habit of scoring important goals'published at 08:59 British Summer Time 15 August 2023

    Spain v Sweden (09:00 BST)

    Jonas Eidevall
    Arsenal manager on BBC One

Stina Blackstenius thrives in the transition moments.

If Sweden can get the ball to Kosovare Asllani in the deep areas, Blackstenius is faster than the Spain defenders, so if she can get space to run into she can create.

She also has a habit of scoring important tournament goals for Sweden, so she will be key for the side today.
