Phil: Sweden. Very professional outfit and coming through the penalty shoot out will give them great confidence. Hoping England also do the business tomorrow to set up my breakfast party in Gothenburg on Sunday morning..

When you think back to the Euros and Spain's game versus England, how they totally dominated possession, that is the Spain we are used to.
Having the ball, their triangle style of play, the amount of shots they manage to get off in a game..
It is not a surprise that their attacking stats are so good.
Spain v Sweden (09:00 BST)
I backed Sweden to beat the USA and I backed them to beat Japan because they have that knowledge and history of being in World Cups and the latter stages of major tournaments.
They came second at the Olympics and it's not by luck. They know how to win and get results. Amanda Ilestedt scored a goal just when they needed to against Japan. They have alternative ways of playing and can pop up with goals from a corner or a free-kick too. They don't always need to control possession.
It will be such a different test against Spain but it's amazing neither of these teams have won the World Cup before.
A lot of players in that Sweden squad will know it's their last World Cup and they have come so close before and not won it. This is their chance and they will be desperate to go all the way.
Brown-Finnis' prediction: 1-1 (Sweden to win on penalties after AET)

Caldentey coming into the Spain side has played so many games alongside Alexia and Bonmati for Barcelona.
She usually starts off as a wide forward, then drifts into the middle to become an extra number 10, not too dissimilar to what Lauren James has done for England in this tournament.
This will then leave the left flank open for Olga Carmona to burst forward and attack.

This is the last game of this World Cup in New Zealand. The official closing ceremony is in Sydney before the final but they have dimmed the lights here at Eden Park and there is a performance taking place on the pitch involving dancers in traditional costume.

The performance against Japan was so impressive.
They had been the team of the tournament until that point and Sweden won that game with total control.
They were composed in possession, aggressive in their pressing and got the game to where they wanted to.
That is what gives me hope today as a Swede, hoping for the same again tonight.

There'll be some familiar faces in the Spain team today for Sweden winger Fridolina Rolfo, who plays her club football in Spain for Barcelona.
"We've come close [to a major trophy]. Now we want to win this title for Sweden and the Swedish people," said Rolfo.
Nine of Rolfo's club team-mates were in 'La Roja' squad that edged the Netherlands 2-1 in the quarter-final on Friday.
"I have been cheering for them in every game," said Rolfo.
"We have been sending each other messages throughout the tournament - congratulations when they win or we win.
"I want them to go far in this tournament. Or I did. I think they've now gone far enough."

Defensively when you get at this Spanish team they are very vulnerable.
For them their best form of defence is their attack. Pressing high up the pitch, playing their nice tiki-taka football in those areas.
Teams know that they like to be on the ball but are very susceptible to the transitions.

Sweden should have enough to win this game in the 90 minutes. Spain are becoming a very good side, but still learning as that 4-0 humbling by Japan showed
Chris
Worth pointing out that of the 4 semi finalists, only England haven't been on the end of a thrashing in the past 18 months. Sweden have lost to 4-0 to both England and Australia, Spain lost 4-0 to Japan and Australia lost 7-0 to Spain. Consistency wins trophies.

Peter Gerhardsson's press conferences at this World Cup have been box office.
After the quarter-final win over Japan, the Sweden boss likened his players to bumblebees before making a buzzing sound and flapping his hands to show a bumblebee in flight.
On Monday, Gerhardsson spent around 20 minutes answering questions about the semi-final before walking off the stage...and into a broom cupboard at Eden Park.
He smiled and laughed after realising his mistake before being directed to the correct exit door.

One of Sweden's standout performers at this tournament has been Amanda Ilestedt, who has recently signed for Eidevall's Arsenal from Paris St-Germain.
The former Bayern Munich defender, 30, has emerged as an unlikely candidate for the World Cup Golden Boot - awarded to the tournament's top scorer.
"Amanda has had a really strong tournament," said Eidevall. "She has scored some really nice goals that have come from set-pieces.
"But for me, the reason why she has had a really strong tournament is the way she has led the defence.
"She is really strong at defending in and around the box. She has proven that many times. She is going to be really important if Sweden are to win the World Cup."
Spain v Sweden (09:00 BST)
The race for the Golden Boot - awarded to the tournament's top scorer - is wide open.
Japan's Hinata Miyazawa leads the way with five goals from five games but, after her side's quarter-final loss to Sweden, her fate as top scorer is out of her hands.
Four players are tied on four goals. Three of them have already been knocked out which leaves an unlikely contender in Sweden's Amanda Ilestedt in prime position.
The Arsenal defender, who has proven a major threat from set pieces, is one goal behind Miyazawa and likely to play in her side's final two games.
As for those who have netted three, Spain's Aitana Bonmati, Jenni Hermoso and Alba Redondo; Australia's Hayley Raso; and England's Lauren James all still remain in the competition.

Plenty of USA shirts on display at Eden Park. They'd have been playing here if they hadn't been knocked out a couple of rounds ago.
Some of their fans secured tickets and booked rooms well in advance - including John Johnson and his family from Wisconsin.
"The plan was always to come out for the semi-final and final," said John, who is with his children Carmella, Valentina and Marcello.
"It's a shame the USA didn't make it but we're here to have a good time and we're going on to Sydney for the final."
So who will they be cheering in the semi-final?
John wants Sweden to win, Carmella is a Spain fan for one day, while Valentina and Marcello have not decided.

In Spain people are conflicted.
Half of their hearts want them to win and go all the way, and the other half says that "If we lose it is also ok," because they don't believe some people involved deserve to be World Champions.
The players have been fantastic on the pitch, and if Spain do win everyone will be happy for them, but not so much for the rest of the people involved.
Maybe winning the World Cup can be the thing that changes women's football in Spain? Maybe after that everyone can work in the same direction and we can find some common ground?
Spain v Sweden (09:00 BST)
Off the field, it hasn't been the easiest year for this Spain squad.
The Spanish football federation said last year that 15 players have said they will resign from the women's national team unless head coach Jorge Vilda was sacked.
The RFEF said the players claimed his tenure is affecting their emotional state and health.
However, the RFEF said it "is not going to allow the players to question the continuity of the national coach".
"These types of manoeuvres are far from exemplary and outside the values of football and sport," they said.
"Making those decisions does not fall within their powers."
As it stands, that was denied by the players but a stand-off ensued amid reports of concern over training methods and inadequate game preparation and Vilda remains in charge.
But La Roja have managed to put a turbulent year behind them to reach the last four.

I spoke to Arsenal's Swedish boss Jonas Eidevall who reckons Sweden will not be haunted by recent semi-final heartbreaks.
The Swedes lost 1-0 to the Netherlands in the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup, before suffering a 4-0 defeat by England in the last four at Euro 2022.
Will that be on the players' minds when they step out to face Spain?
"Absolutely not," Eidevall said. "I know a lot of the players and no way will they be thinking about the past. They will believe in themselves and they will have a positive mindset.
"I'm a big believer that the more you play these decisive games, the more you are going to end up being on the winning side."

Spain's record scorer Jenni Hermoso says the thought of being within one win of the Women's World Cup final is giving her "shivers".
"I always said that I wish I could win something with the national team and now I feel close," said Hermoso.
"We are one victory away from the World Cup final."
Spain are appearing in their first Women's World Cup semi-final and former Barcelona forward Hermoso admitted there were nerves in the camp.
She added: "If we're not nervous then something is not going right. To be in the final, to reach the final, just thinking about it gives me shivers. We are close to achieving this."
