Better from Arsenal as Keylor Navas denies Bukayo Saka from a corner.

Now Mikel Arteta makes those changes as Kieran Tierney and Eddie Nketiah replace Jakub Kiwior and Granit Xhaka.

Mikel Arteta is preparing a couple of changes with Kieran Tierney and Eddie Nketiah set to come on.

Goodness knows they need a change because they do not look like scoring at all at the moment.

Gabriel Jesus clearly fouled in the penalty area. Didn't we used to have VAR?

    David G

Can someone explain to me why Gabriel Jesus being clearly pulled down in the area hasn't gone to VAR? Come on Howard Webb, let's see you on Monday Night Football explain this one!

There's a distinct lack of urgency from Arsenal. They are playing like they are patiently trying to add a second goal rather than turn things around.

I think the referee would think twice about that if he had another look.

On this occasion, I think Gabriel Jesus has been hard done by.

Gabriel Jesus goes down inside the box under pressure from Joe Worrall. The referee brandishes a yellow card but shows it to Jesus.

When Nottingham Forest broke out of their own half just then, there was a foul on a home player that referee Anthony Taylor let go because Forest still had the ball and was playing advantage.

Steve Cooper was calling for the free-kick. I don't think he was bothered about the advantage. At the moment, he would take any stoppage offered.

    Nottm Forest 1-0 Arsenal

Arsenal have come back to win half of the games they have been trailing in at half time in the Premier League this season. They certainly need a big improvement in the final third if they are going to turn this one around.

    Nottm Forest 1-0 Arsenal

It is Nottingham Forest who have started this half the stronger and a free kick into the box causes a bit of panic, with Ryan Yates just failing to connect with a header from close range before Felipe's prodded effort is pushed behind by Aaron Ramsdale.

    FT: Liverpool 1-1 Aston Villa

    Liverpool

Liverpool midfielder James Milner speaking to BBC Sport: "It was a special moment. I've been lucky to have a pretty good time here. It is a special place., I might play here again, who knows.

"The trophy Liverpool always wanted was the league title and to leave after eight years and have done that, it's what you hope happens.

"I think anytime you win a trophy is it special. It's what a club like this demands. The league title was the one we wanted and to deliver that was special.

"I've had an unbelievable time here. I'm content. Happy with the job and the team I've been a part of and the success we've contributed to the club's history.

"One more game to go, it would be nice to finish with a win.

"I've been available most of the year, I've contributed and I still feel good. Age is just a number."

    FT: Liverpool 1-1 Aston Villa

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to Sky Sports: "In the first half everything looked a bit hectic, too much, too quick. They got the penalty, they miss it, they scored their goal. It was clear we had to chase the game and we did that very well.

"You could see Aston Villa were done but they still had enough bodies. It made it very difficult. Now its a draw, which doesn't help us, but I think probably it is the right result."

On his side's disallowed goal: "I asked the referee, it's a subjective decision. He thought the ball was not deliberately played. I have a different view."

On Roberto Firmino and James Milner's final home appearances at Anfield: "Actually, I think both boys who played today, showed in 20 minutes who they are, why we love them, and what everybody else can expect when they get them. The fire, the intensity Milly brings. Bobby is just a great footballer between the lines. We will miss them. But like most good stories in life, they have a finish. This story is not finished. Not forever, but the football part."

On Aston Villa's time wasting and the amount of added time: "I think 15 minutes would have been all right. We have to talk about that. When Sevilla was 2-1 up against Juventus [in the Europa League on Thursday] the ball boys left the country, Leverkusen against Roma [too] it was unbelievable. We have to try to find a solution. This was on the edge I would say today. We all see the same and we have to at least talk about it in the right way. We need to work on a solution because it is not great for football. We cannot say this is OK. "

  13. 'We deserved to win'published at 18:33 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    FT: Wolves 1-1 Everton

    Wolves

Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "In my opinion, we deserved to win, but sometimes football is not what you deserve. Today we lost two points, that’s football. The players showed they are professional and competed very well.

“I’m happy with the commitment, the behaviour and spirit of the players. It’s not easy to play these kind of matches. It’s a final for Everton. We have shown we’re professional and want to make a gift for our fans. It was a pity for us.

“We think [making six changes] was better for the team. We have players who want to show they are ready to play here. I’m happy.

“It was a very, very difficult situation when we arrived here. We were bottom on Boxing Day with 10 points. That’s why it’s been a very hard six months. It is the most difficult achievement or me, sure. We’ve had very good matches at home – that’s a very good thing for us.

“All of us at the club, we have to be ready. The rest of the teams in the Premier League are going to [improve]. You have to do all those things in the summer to be a better team, a better squad.”

  14. 'Ruben is our player'published at 18:33 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    FT: Wolves 1-1 Everton

    Wolves

Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui, speaking to Sky Sports: “Nine minutes [of stoppage time] is a lot. It’s true that we had breaks, but five minutes maximum. We’ve suffered a lot. It was a pity because we deserved to win, more than Everton in my opinion.

“We tried to be professional and respect all the teams that are fighting relegation. I don’t have any complaint with the attitude of the players.”

On Ruben Neves: “I’m very happy with Ruben because he is our player. He’s had a very good season. He has a contract. We’re very happy he has a contract with us.”

On rebuilding in the summer: “We have a contract, of course. We have to talk more in the future about investment, the way to improve the squad. It has been a very, very hard year.

“I think next year is going to be similar. We have to prepare to be ready to do our homework this summer. If not, we are going to suffer. In the future, we will see what will happen. It’s important to see about the process for next season.”

  15. 'I'm very proud'published at 18:32 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    FT: Liverpool 1-1 Aston Villa

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery speaking to BBC Sport: "Overall in 90 minutes I think the team played a very competitive match and had a really high commitment for every ball.

"If you want to win here you have to defend well. In the first half we did magnificently but in the second half they had more players higher. Tactically it was different.

"I am very proud of their work. We have the last match against Brighton with Europe in our hands.

"We are working like we wanted at the beginning. I'm very proud of our supporters also, travelling to each match and enjoying with us this moment.

"On Sunday we play at home with them, ready to close the season with a good challenge."

Arsenal sleepwalking into another loss, exactly the same as last week. Most of the game remaining when the goal went in to make something - but instead look, tired, jaded and bereft of ideas. At least make City have to take to the field and win it themselves, boys! Where's the pride?

  18. 'Frustrating'published at 18:27 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    FT: Liverpool 1-1 Aston Villa

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to BBC Sport: "Frustrating wherever you sit. We made it a proper fight - chasing the Champions League in general. They got more points. We would have loved to have made it exciting for another week but we couldn't do that.

"I asked the boys after the game, who was really, really good today? It was difficult to find one. But the character we showed was good. Aston Villa were screwed in the second half and they didn't know how to deal with it."

On the disallowed goal: "I spoke to the referee, he said it is a subjective decision. He said it's not deliberate, I said it was."

On time wasting: "The time wasting was... wow. We saw against Sevilla the ball boys left the country, Roma against Leverkusen, how long was the ball in play? Ten minutes [added time] was fine, but we should have an extra five minutes within the 10. Everybody is doing it. We have seen in too many games this season, it has nothing to do with the result today, just a general football subject."

On Roberto Firmino and James Milner: "Both contributions of Milly and Bobby was crazy. We saw what we will miss. That is how it is. it is a story we wrote together, now we have to write a new story and they have to write a new story. We have to step up leadership wise without Milly. Bobby is Bobby. I will miss all of them. It is better we all feel really bad that they leave than happy."

On likely missing out on a top four place: "We will make it [the Europa League] our competition. I am not that spoilt. That we are already qualified for the Europa League is incredible with all these teams around us. That's really difficult and we did it, that is good. For so long we couldn't even hear the sound of the Champions League, that's how far away we were. The Europe League us absolutely fine. Let's see what we can do."

Very few chances for Arsenal so far. The execution hasn't been good enough, a long long way from what we have seen from Arsenal this season. They need to change.

The manager needs to have a word. Jorginho gets a pass, he's been excellent.
