Nevizade Street, the unofficial City base for the ticketless in the heart of Istanbul, has just erupted!

The nervous quiet of the last ten minutes has turned into raucous cheering.

There’s beer, and tears, and lots of hugging. The road is draped with blue City flags, Blue Moon is pumping from the speakers, and the party here is just getting started.

Inter Milan complete a hat-trick of Italian defeats in the European finals.

Roma lost to Sevilla in the Europa League and Fiorentina were beaten by West Ham in the Conference League.

From a footballing point of view, Manchester City certainly deserve to be European champions.

They have been the best team in Europe over the course of the last decade or so I reckon - so it's fair they win a Champions League.

The trophy engravers are etching Manchester City's name on the trophy.

At the FA Cup final last weekend they had Manchester written before kick-off.
