Most will believe he should have scored the header and also that he took the wrong option when he went to shoot just then rather than setting up a team-mate.

He will be bitterly disappointed not to have equalised with one of those opportunities.

I hope any criticism of the Belgian remains just that.

That's an absolutely incredible miss. A big save from Ederson but he shouldn't be allowed to save that.

I cannot believe Inter Milan have not equalised here. Ederson somehow saves Romelu Lukaku's header from point-blank range. The Belgian should have buried it though, he had the whole goal to aim for.

Ruben Dias almost turns the rebound into his own net but it goes just wide.

Everyone bar the Inter keeper on City's half now.

Ironically, all of Guardiola's involve Manchester. Aside from tonight, his other two triumphs were both against Manchester United when he was at Barcelona.
