Risky business from Pamela Tajonar as her indecision has her flailing to claim the ball.

Mistakes like that could be the difference in a game as tight as this.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 47 mins

    Shen

First booking of the afternoon as Shen has a firm grasp of Chelsea Cornet's shirt as she tries to break away.

    Easy yellow.

Right, let's kick this up a gear, eh?

Back at it in the Scottish Cup Final.

    HT: Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    Julie Fleeting
Former Scotland striker on BBC Scotland

Rangers haven't offered very much in an attacking sense. That'll be disappointing for them.

They've come up against a very strong Celtic defence, but they're not creating enough opportunities. We talked about their strength in wide areas but they haven't gotten beyond.

It hasn't been the exciting first half we hoped for. Nerves have kicked in.

    HT: Celtic 0-0 Rangers

The managers were in good spirits before the game. I wonder how they feel now.

One last half-time team talk as Rangers boss for Malky Thomson. Will it prove pivotal?

  6. 'Largely even affair'published at 14:28 British Summer Time 28 May 2023

    HT: Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    Rachel Corsie
Scotland and Aston Villa defender on BBC Scotland

Celtic haven't been clinical enough. It's been largely even.

It's down the left-hand side that Celtic have been most effective. Menglu started the game there and showed a couple of promising attacks, and then she swapped with Jacynta who also found joy down the outside.

That chance at the end was the best Celtic had.

They're not being treated to a classic final at the moment, but what a sight it is to see so many supporters in the Hampden sunshine.

  8. 'Celtic lacking quality in final third'published at 14:22 British Summer Time 28 May 2023

    HT: Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    Leanne Crichton
    Ex-Scotland international on BBC Scotland

Victoria Esson hasn't had too much to do but she's dealt with it when she's been asked.

Celtic are just lacking that quality in the final third.

  9. HALF-TIME Celtic 0-0 Rangerspublished at 14:19 British Summer Time 28 May 2023

Goalless at the break in what has been a tense and tepid final so far.

Shen had the best opportunity of the half right in the final moments, but was more keen to pass than to punish after pinching the ball high up the park.

You get the sense the first goal could well be the winner in this one.

    What an opportunity for Shen!

She robs Hannah Davison of the ball and is clean through on goal, before dragging her shot wide as Victoria Esson looked to close the angle.

Fran Alonso has head in hands, he can't believe it.

Celtic substitutes have just returned from a wee warm-up and it ought to be said, it's a right young bench. Bairns, they're bairns!

Fran Alonso did stress he was right down to the bare bones.

School tomorrow for four of the nine named. Not a bad thing to say you done at the weekend, mind.

  12. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    Worth a punt, Natasha Flint.

The Celtic striker, who is lying deeper today, hammers one towards goal from inside her own half after spotting Victoria Esson off her line. The Rangers goalkeeper easily claims.

  13. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Jacynta clatters into Rachel McLauchlan as she presses to win the ball high up park.

Quality has been at a premium so far. Two top teams cancelling each other out perhaps, as well as the weight of the occasion making its mark on play.

  14. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Celtic beginning to look dangerous as Jacynta is relased in behind.

The Australian drifts inside, and again a Rangers centre-half nearly turns the ball into her own net. This time, it's Kathryn Hill who's glad to see it only go for a corner.

  15. Postpublished at 29 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Amy Gallacher is down receiving treatment after a coming together with Kathryn Hill.

There didn't look too much in it, and she's back on her feet now.

  16. 'Flint too deep'published at 26 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    Leanne Crichton
    Ex-Scotland international on BBC Scotland

Natasha Flint will, no doubt, have a big part to play but I'm really surprised she is playing as deep as she is. The problems that she's caused since arriving in January, she's much more of a threat when she's higher up the pitch.

She gives Celtic that link, she allows players to get around her. Jacynta can play off her. Celtic aren't utilising her as much as they could.

  17. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Heart in mouth for Hannah Davison.

Shen Menglu curls in a lovely ball with Natasha Flint looking to dart in with clever movement. Davison stays strong and knocks it behind, though for a moment it did look like it might roll beyond her own goalkeeper.

  18. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Shen living dangerously with a pass through the eye of a needle. It's the first time Celtic have really knocked it around as we know they can do so well.

Rangers pinch the ball back, with the two sides swapping possession frequently at the moment.

  20. Yellow nets?!published at 18 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    Amy Canavan
    BBC Scotland at Hampden Park

If you've had a wee deek at the nets here at Hampden, and you fear you're going colour blind, I'm here to ease your woes.

The nets are indeed yellow. Bespoke netting for this final, with a nod to the Mackintosh rose.

The winning team, too, will get the opportunity to cut the net up and take a part of history home with them.

    Class, if you ask me.
