Those moments in your career don't often come around. Winning the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup. It has been an incredible season for Man City.

I thought Inter were very good. They stopped the play when they needed to, they pressed high, their three centre backs shackled Erling Haaland really well all game. But Manchester City were resolute, I thought their three centre backs were brilliant in the build-up of play.

Rodri didn't have the best of first halves but I thought he came into it more in the second. Top teams get wins and that is what they did.

Now we have won the Champions League we can concentrate on winning more Premier Leagues, especially 4 in a row. In my opinion the Premier League is far harder to win. 38 games over a long season in the toughest most competitive league in the world and I think most City fans would agree.

City midfielder Jack Grealish on winning the Champions League: "This is what you work your whole life for. I'm so happy.

"I was awful but I don't care. To win the Treble with this group of players is so special.

"Everyone who knows me knows how much I love football and this is what I have worked for my whole life.

"Seeing my family in the crowd makes me so emotional.

"I just said to the manager, 'I want to thank you'. He has put so much faith in me. He is a genius."

Marc: Congratulations to City. I honestly can't believe this is the team that actually did it though, City have had much better teams previously and if it wasn't for poor finishing I don't think they'd have won last night. Fair play though, you can only beat what's in front of you.

Those allegations have got to be faced up and there will be an outcome. There will either be exoneration or Manchester City will have to pay the consequences.

But I think it is possible to separate that from what Pep Guardiola has done with the players that have been made available to him.

There is almost universal appreciation for what he is as a football coach.

  7. City's 115 Premier League chargespublished at 12:16 British Summer Time 11 June 2023

    Manchester City

Manchester City are still waiting for the result of the 115 Premier League financial charges against the club.

In February, City were charged with breaches of the league's financial rules from 2009 to 2018. They were also accused of not co-operating since the investigation began in December 2018.

City have denied financial wrongdoing and say their innocence is supported by a "body of irrefutable evidence" and they "look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all".

A two-year ban from European competitions for breaching Uefa's Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations was overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) in 2020, but City were fined 10m euros (£8.67m) for obstructing the investigation.

Last month, boss Pep Guardiola said: "What I would like is if the Premier League and judges could make something as soon as possible.

"Then, if we have done something wrong, everybody will know it and, if we are like we believe as a club for many years, [done things] in the right way, then the people will stop talking about it."

Manchester City fan Jackie Allen was on BBC 5 Live this morning speaking about their Champions League victory. Asked how she was feeling, she said: "Very, very emotional. My voice is just coming back. It was just an amazing night. I never thought I would see my football club do the Treble. I just can't get my head around it, it's a shock. It's a dream come true. Thank you so much Pep and the boys. I've been following them for years, home and away, abroad and now this has happened. It's unbelievable.

On what it was like when the full-time whistle went at the place she was watching the match in Manchester: "We were just sat there waiting for the whistle to go and when it went it just erupted. I have never heard a noise quite like that in my life. Everyone was hugging everyone, flags were going, it was just carnage.

Finally she was asked if it was the greatest day of her life: "One of them. The greatest day was when I had my daughter, the next one was 2012 and then last night. It was just amazing. I am still in shock, I came home at 3am and I woke up this morning and thought 'is this really happening?'

Rodri was the 19th different Spanish player to score in a European Cup/Champions League final, the most from a single nation.

In addition, he was only the second Spanish player to do so for an English side, after Xabi Alonso for Liverpool in 2005.
