There's never a dull moment when Jack Grealish is around.
Here he is poking his head out of the skylight as the team coach prepares to leave for the airport.

A wave and half a smile from City boss Pep Guardiola. Will the Champions League trophy be sitting on his lap on the flight home?

All smiles from Erling Haaland as he leaves the team hotel to catch the flight back to Manchester. He's got his Champions League medal wrapped around his neck. Will he be listening to the Champions League anthem on the flight home?

Raigmj: Congrats to City - great achievement. With the talent we have in the likes of Foden, Grealish, Stones, Walker, Rashford, Saka, Bellingham and others, I would regard it a massive failure if Gareth Southgate cannot manage to win the Euros next year.
Manchester City

Walkeden: John Stones has been absolutely outstanding. He is an example of what a good coach does - he improves the players he’s responsible for. If the coach does that results take care of themselves. Gundogan, Rodri, Stones, Foden etc have all improved as a result of a wonderful coach. Stones is my City player of the season above Haaland.

Next to emerge from the hotel is Ilkay Gundogan who is also wearing his medal.

Cmcbenz: City took the tough road to Champion League glory by beating the best teams in the world. So they deserve to be happy and celebrated. True champions.

Wooden Bollard: I'm not a City fan but they are clearly the best team in Europe and deserve this trophy, after coming so close previously and after dominating the PL. Congratulations to City.

It's midday in Istanbul and Manchester City's triumphant players are preparing to head home after spending the night celebrating in Turkey's largest city.
The squad is due to board a flight back to Manchester in the next couple of hours, flying on a club-liveried Etihad Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
Players will meet up again on Monday before showing off their trophies during a parade through Manchester city centre.

Gooner: And to think little ole Brentford did the double over the European champions, Premier League and FA Cup winners. Brilliant.

Pep Guardiola says he got a message from Sir Alex Ferguson on the morning of the final that 'touched' him.
He says it is 'an honour' to also have won the Treble alongside the former Manchester United boss, who masterminded the Red Devils' Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup triumphs in 1998-99.

Bonface: Nairobi, Kenya. Not many City fans here, but still, many here followed the game in this football-mad nation. Arsenal fans wanted City to win if only to spite Manchester United fans; United fans wanted an Inter win to preserve their Treble record. Guess who's smiling?

It is a simple fact that many outside the Abu Dhabi-owned club will always view Manchester City's triumph through the prism of the charges of 115 financial breaches brought against them by the Premier League, charges they fiercely deny.
For City's owners, with Sheikh Mansour attending only his second game since taking control in 2008, this was the night they have planned for and the one when they finally claimed that holy grail.
The celebrations at the final whistle reflected a magnificent season as City finally got their hands on the Champions League trophy and prepared to parade it around the streets of Manchester along with the Premier League and FA Cup.

There were jubilant scenes long beyond the full-time whistle inside Manchester’s Depot Mayfield, which was a sell out with 6,000 fans watching the final.
Phone calls were made to loved ones, there were hugs everywhere you looked, while some supporters held their hands on their heads as the magnitude of such an historic achievement started to sink in.

Bigfootballfan: Ederson was Man of the Match. What a performance. Those last two saves decided everything. But well done everybody anyway. Unlucky Inter.
