Rain stops playpublished at 10 mins
Scotland 1-0 Georgia
The referee is taking the players off.
The rain has eased off and I'm guessing the ground staff are going to get busy with the rollers and mops.
No indication of how long this break will be.

Callum McGregor is quickest to react.
I wonder if the keeper has seen that late. He'll be looking at that thinking he can do better.
Scotland 1-0 Georgia
Boos for the referee as he goes off for a long talk with an official looking chap in a blazer.
Are they discussing a pause in play?
Callum McGregor
Never mind the rain. Play on!
The ball breaks to Callum McGregor from a corner and the Scotland midfielder hammers a low shot on target. The keeper gets a hand on it but can't keep it out.

Scotland keeper Angus Gunn gets a scare as a speculative shot from distance stops in the rain and thinks about changing direction before trickling out.

Steve Clarke and Willy Sagnol have both given the fourth official an earful...
This is a joke.
Scotland 0-0 Georgia
The conditions really are ridiculous. Ryan Porteous goes down and it's like he's dived into the shallow end of a swimming pool.

During the national anthems, the groundstaff were out with giant rollers furiously pushing waves of water away from pitch.
Just a few minutes in and it's clear why. The pitch is borderline unplayable.

The referee's whistle has barely finished peeping and the Tartan Army are chanting, 'We're off to Germany'.
To be honest, think that was being sung during the Cyprus game...
Scotland 0-0 Georgia
Big splashes of water off the pitch with every kick of the ball. There could be a few heart-in-mouth moments if it stays like this.
Scotland 0-0 Georgia
And away we go at a very soggy Hampden.
The VAR monitor may need windscreen wipers.

A minute's applause for Gordon McQueen, a ferocious Scotland defender and all round nice guy - unless you were an opposition striker.

Craig Levein
Former Scotland manager on BBC Sportsound
I'm greatly encouraged by how the Scotland team is progressing. This is a challenge, I look at the odds on this game and I think Georgia were 6/1 which I think really is a big prize for a game that is a lot tighter than that.
I'm hopeful we'll have the same feel at the end of this match [as we did against Norway]. I'm really looking forward to seeing what we can do.

Scotland head coach Steve Clarke tells Viaplay: "We need to be on the front foot and create chances. Putting Billy [Gilmour] in midfield will give us control in midfield.
"We need to keep to our principles and hopefully it's good enough to get three points."
Clarke singles out Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as a Georgia threat, saying the Napoli winger is a "very good player".
"But they have a number of other very good players," the Scotland boss adds. "They'll come here confident."

Georgia are a better side now than they were in those previous meetings, but we should also stress that Scotland are much improved.
Scotland are unbeaten in seven competitive games, and have won six of those. If we take it back further, Steve Clarke's side have won 13 out of their past 16 competitive matches.
The hosts are looking for a sixth consecutive victory at Hampden.

We should probably mention Scotland's previous meetings with Georgia, even if it brings back some painful memories.
Twice before in Euro campaigns Scottish hopes were torpedoed in Tbilisi, with damaging defeats in 2007 and 2015.
The home matches in those sections were fraught too, with Craig Beattie finding a late, late goal for a 2-1 win in the first meeting at Hampden and an own goal settling things second time round.

Alan Hutton
Former Scotland defender on Viaplay
We've got to embrace this [run of form]. We've waited a long time for it.
The players can make a bit of history tonight by winning four from four. Let's get behind them and go for it.
Hutton and his TV colleagues are doing a grand job under umbrellas as the rain continues to come down in sheets.

We all know how talented Billy Gilmour is.
I expect Georgia to be more robust. Scotland will have more of the ball so Billy will give us composure in the middle of pitch.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is just 22 and there are a couple of other rising stars at the same age for Georgia.
Giorgi Mamardashvili is the first choice goalkeeper at Valencia, while striker Georges Mikautadze fired in 24 goals for Metz last season and is being linked with a move to Juventus.
