There's a stoppage as Hume receives some treatment after making a sliding tackle.

It was pretty innocuous but he was caught on the back of the head. He's back on his feet and everyone jumps at the chance to take on some water.

What a let-off that was for Northern Ireland, who had settled into this game well, dominating the ball and looking to probe.

How Maxim Samorodov failed to score only he will know, but the Kop breathed a collective sigh of relief as he guided his shot wide.

The match has been played almost entirely in the visitors' half apart from that, which will please NI manager Michael O'Neill.

Trai Hume is starting very high up the pitch down the right flank and is getting plenty of support from Ali McCann and Paddy McMair. That could be a trio to watch.

Isaac Price has showed his quality a few times, too, but NI need to stay vigilant at the back.

The corner is whipped in and Paddy McNair does really well to keep it alive.

It drops to Craig Cathcart four yards out but he somehow heads over the top. If that's on target then it's a goal.

A huge miss. On for each side now. I've no idea how this is goalless.

Trai Hume, who has almost been a right winger so far, tries to find Dion Charles in the area but it's cut out.

Northern Ireland recycle the ball and it falls to Isaac Price on the edge of the area.

It takes a deflection and almost loops into the top corner. It took an age to drop down but it was the wrong side of the post.

This has been a pretty open 19 minutes.

Not a lot of quality in the final third, but it's being played at a good pace.

The crowd, as ever, are in brilliant voice.

That was a great miss!

It's a warning, they scored three goals against Denmark and if you give them the opportunity they'll take it.

How did he miss?!

Orazov threads the ball through for Maksim Samorodov. He does really well to jink inside a couple of players.

It's seven yards out, the goal gaping....but he slots it wide.

Brilliant to start with but that's an awful finish. Big let off.

Shea Charles with a nice little touch inside for Dion Charles.

he looks like he has lost it but it breaks back to him, and his snapshot is just over.

This is the type of game I'd love to see Shea Charles get on the ball because he's got the type of play that would dictate the game. We saw him on Friday, and defensively he was excellent, but we want to get at this team and I believe he has the attributes to do that.

Dion Charles is always looking to get in behind and does well to win a throw off Gabyshev in the corner.

It comes to nothing, but it's still a strong start.

There's some ironic cheers as Mikhail Gabyshev miscontrols the ball on the far side.

Few do it better than the Green and White Army.

Dion Charles slides in on Orazov. He looked to have got the ball but the decision goes against him.

Trai Hume has a go from range but it's well over.

Certainly worth a try as it bounced up in front of him about 20 yards out.

Dion Charles almost squirms his way through a number of yellow shirts in the area but he's flagged for offside.

He'll be desperate to make an impact tonight.

Decent start from Northern Ireland and a good amount of possession but we just haven't threatened yet.

Bakhtiyar Zaynutdinov wins a free-kick on the halfway line off Paddy McNair.

The visitors come forward and Ramazan Orazov looks to win a cheap free-kick, but there's nothing doing there.

Isaac Price plays it in.

It's low and easily cleared. Not the best delivery.

Dion Charles plays in a low cross and it's scuffed clear for a corner.
