Bournemouth
Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We started well. We had a goal disallowed, we scored, we had another chance and with some mistakes from their keeper and defenders we played high but from there they improved and they pushed us.
"We take a lot of pride in the first half. We were doing pretty well and then the penalty came. It is soft. There is contact but it is a soft, soft contact. It was not an easy game to referee. If there is contact normally they don’t ask for second opinions. It was quite clear.
"I think we had quite a lot of chances. We scored one, had one disallowed and at the end we had three or four clear chances and should have scored."
On Alexis Mac Allister’s red card: “I don’t know. In real life it did not look like a red card.”
FT: Fulham 0-3 Brentford
Brentford defender Nathan Collins to Sky Sports: "Tough game, really even.
"That's us, that's what we do, we make teams uncomfortable, our strikers work hard. We stayed strong, we kept our shape."
On his battle with former Wolves team-mate Raul Jimenez: "Yes tough to play against him, we played against each other in training last season. I'm enjoying my football and where I am."

Fulham
Fulham boss Marco Silva to Sky Sports: “Many things [went wrong] not just one to be honest. Tight game as you’d expect. They deserved three points. One or two moments were punished. It was a really balanced first half, not many chances. We had moments, so did they.
“Almost at the end of the first half they scored and that had a huge impact. We started the second half better. We could have equalised.”
On the penalty and red card against Tim Ream: “Looking at the moment it’s really difficult. I didn’t see anything there. It’s the new Premier League we have to get used to it. Any time you don’t have your hands in your pocket it’s a yellow card for the manager. Any time a player moves in the direction of the referee there will be a yellow card.
"We’ll have over 200 yellows in the first 10 weeks. There are new rules and we have to get used to it. The Premier League is totally different now to last season or the season before or 20 years ago. We have to adapt. It’s difficult to understand.
“Everyone wants 11 v 11. In this way it will be difficult. We have to adapt for this new Premier League we’re facing. I didn’t see anything. We were surprised by the penalty and red card. The game was finished from that moment. I think everyone should be surprised by that situation. Our players couldn’t believe it. They didn’t see a clear and obvious error. Tim tried to go for the ball. He didn’t try to take him as well. He doesn’t do anything. It’s not the referee’s fault we lost the game, congratulations to Brentford. Clear not penalty.
“We lost in that moment, the game was finished. We were fighting at 1-0. That moment decides the game. It was an error from the referee and the VAR had the same opinion.”

No matter who Ange Postecoglou's teams are playing, the approach is the same.
The style is the same, whether he was playing a lower league team in Scotland in the cup [at Celtic], or against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The players know what is expected and they will get results. Spurs fans will enjoy watching their team; the football is exciting an non-stop.

Walking into the first home game of the season and feel optimistic, but will Spurs dash my hopes against the rocks as usual?

Colin: Look at that bench and ETH says he’s happy with the squad. He can’t be. Average at best. Going to be a long season

Dimitar Berbatov, who of course played for both these sides, is in attendance. He's looking razor sharp too with a smart grey suit and sunglasses.
Berbatov is 42 but looks like he could step on the pitch today no problem.

Bournemouth
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, speaking to Sky Sports: "Overall, I think we had some good things and some bad things and that is why we didn't get the result. In the first half we played very good and started really well and competed. The penalty was too soft. The key was the third goal after they were playing with 10. We had chances to score a second but the third goal kept us out of the game.
"There was soft contact [for the penalty]. Overall it was a game where the ref had tough decisions. It was not an easy game, with some 'orange' cards, but he did quite good. In the end, there is contact but it is very, very soft.
"We had chances and could have scored more goals but you know at Anfield you are going to receive chances and concede. But the third goal was key.
"There are good things and things we need to improve. There were good performances, which is not always easy at Anfield. We need to keep improving."
Wolves 1-4 Brighton
Wolves
Wolves defender Max Kilman to PLP: "I think we started really well; they are a top side. We didn't take our chances, they did. The margins in football are really fine and we saw that today.
"We are creating chances, but we need to find the net; we are back on Monday in training getting ready for Everton.
[Working with Gary O'Neil] has been really good. It has only been eight days so there is a long way to go but I'm confident we will come out on the right side.
"Every manager is different but we need to adjust to the way he wants to play."

Liverpool
Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I am feeling really, really great, I am really happy and I hope I can do even more here in front of the fans.
"We are there for each other and if somebody gets sent off then we change some of the things and I go back as a six. I cannot go forward as much, even the manager was screaming at me sometimes because I forget it. We fight for each other and we even scored after the red card.
"The reaction after losing a goal was unbelievable. We had no stress, we were calm on the ball and in front of the goal. We changed some things and it worked.
"Of course we will improve with time. We have a new team, new player and new system. We will be even better with time."
Tottenham v Man Utd (17:30 BST)
Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, speaking to Sky Sports: "It's a big day, I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully we put on a performance that reflects the work we have done so far and gives our supporters hope and some belief about what we are going to do this year.
"We want to try and dominate the game and play in their half as much as possible and control it. Easier said than done against good opposition but you haver to attempt that because it's the end goal and there is no point shying away from it when you get a test."
On Pedro Porro and Pape Matar Sarr starting: "They have been great all pre-season and I'm still at the stage of seeing all the players and testing them and forming in my head the lads who are going to be the best fit for us. Today is a good opportunity to throw those boys in."
FT: Fulham 0-3 Brentford
Bryan Mbeumo is the joint top Cameroonian scorer in the Premier League with 16 goals - level with Joseph-Desire Job.
Tottenham v Man Utd (17:30 BST)
Manchester United
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, speaking to Sky Sports: "Definitely, it is one of the aims [to improve away from home] we have set for the season.
"We were not fresh. I think the fitness is very good. You have seen it with intensity but the freshness was not there. You could see it with the amount of ball losses we had [against Wolves] over 80 unforced errors, that is too much and we can do much better.
"It is nothing against the ones we didn't pick. Many players had a good pre-season but the players we selected on Monday and now again can do much better. I hope they are much fresher and deal better with the ball, if they do that we will be more comfortable."
FT: Fulham 0-3 Brentford
Brentford
Brentford forward Yoane Wissa to Sky Sports on his central role: "I really enjoy it, I love to play in the middle, I spoke to Thomas [Frank] and he told me to press."
On the penalty: "The ref is always right, what can I say?"
On Ivan Toney's absence: "We have to play with a striker, Thomas knows I can play there."
Wolves 1-4 Brighton
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton winger Solly March: "If you are in the right positions, you are going to get chances. Both my goals came from busting a gut so if I keep doing that I'll get more goals.
"We've got two or three players in every position; maybe we didn't have that last year and that can help us kick on this year, If we keep our foot on the pedal and believing we'll hopefully have a great season again."

BBC Sport at Anfield
Liverpool's excellent run at Anfield continues and they have now gone 13 Premier League matches since they lost at home, when Leeds beat them 2-1 back on 29 October.
Overall, the Reds fully deserved the three points, but Bournemouth certainly played their part in what was a hugely enjoyable afternoon of football.
The Cherries scored inside three minutes, but two goals in a nine-minute spell, including a controversially-awarded penalty put Liverpool in charge.
They threatened to run away with the game at the end of the first half and then again at the start of the second before Alexis Mac Allister received a harsh red card on his Anfield debut for the club.
All credit to Liverpool though as they added a third through Diogo Jota and, despite a late flurry from the visitors, earned the three points.

Liverpool
Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, speaking to Sky Sports: "I am feeling tired but really happy that I could make the first home game in front of the fans. The win is the most important and now we are looking forward to the next game.
"Sometimes we start strong, sometimes we start like this. The best thing was the reaction from the whole team. Some of us made some mistakes but the reaction was unbelievable. We scored a quick goal and scored again. And also the red card and after the reaction was also really good. We are looking forward.
"I just enjoy playing football. These guys have so much quality and we understand each other so good. I hope I can play as much as possible."

Lots of focus on Richarlison from the cameras he goes through his warm up. The pressure is on the Brazilian to step up now that Harry Kane has gone and today would be the ideal time for him to make his mark.

I think Brentford and Brighton carrying on their good form and with the possibility of Chelsea doing better than last year means this could be the most competitive season to finish top 4 and top 7 for a long time.
