I was just about to say that Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma were great against Manchester United last week and were looking good again. Two players who were underused or underperformed last season but look to be the driving force in Ange's Engine Room.

First real chance of the game! No surprises that James Maddison is involved, and it all comes from a poor clearance from Neto. Son picks it up and plays Maddison in, Neto then saves his shot with his feet, as Max Aarons did well to get back and make a challenge.

He's not going to score as many as Harry Kane but I still suspect Richarlison will come good for Spurs. We'll see. There are probably 91 sets of fans in England who wouldn't mind an upgrade at number nine, though.

A real winding for Cristian Romero as he wins a header and then lands in a heap on his side. Ouch. Romero had to come off after scoring against Brentford of course but he's made of teak and can play on this time.

James Maddison is at the wheel for another slick Spurs move, two nice passes before he spins inside the area and scuffs a shot that is blocked by Max Aarons. Was there a hand involved? Nothing doing.

Tottenham's Pedro Porro is tucking in from right-back into the heart of midfield, if you're playing 'modern game bingo.' James Maddison then plays a beaut of a pass with the outside of his boot, it's cut out but not many would have even though about it.

Given the fact that their talisman Harry Kane has left, Spurs needed something to look forward too.

It feels exciting. They are getting that excitement with this new style of play they are playing with now.

Bournemouth playing with a high line that would bring tears to Steve Cook's eyes, we're in for an entertaining game here. Here come Spurs with their first attack, James Maddison's nutmegged pass to Son is a peach but his shot is charged down.

Ange Postecoglou has definitely injected a new energy into the side.

Maddison is running things in midfield, Bissouma playing with lots of confidence.

Spurs are playing with freedom, passing the ball around with confidence, passing forward instead of sideways.

So this could really be a new Spurs we are seeing.
