Fulham boss Marco Silva, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Strange, angry, it's a good point. I agree with all that. A great reaction from ourselves from the last result. Many people said this would not be a good stadium to come to and show a reaction.

"We believed it could be the best place to come and show that. We did that from the first minute, the way we pressed them and took advantage of the mistake. Of course Arsenal come back with more chances and shots and corners - I don't need to see the stats.

"They push when they are losing. I have to mention the away fans as well the way they support our team. They created some moments, although not big, big chances in the first half. One of the things we need to improve is on the ball. We need possession to rest a bit more and breathe. It is tough physically to always be running back to the ball.

"Until the penalty, I thought the game was more or less under control. We have to be a bit more mature after they equalise. They score the second too quick and in my mind it was a foul on Calvin Bassey. At 10 men we showed the ambition and determination and capacity to keep believing in ourselves. After we equalised we are brave to defend our box with 10 men."

It's a big shout this early in the season to say for definite about relegation or survival. You can see the positives for Palace for sure.

My concern for Crystal Palace is are they going to score enough goals? When you have your defender doing a one-two and almost tackling into the ball to score, that sort of shows the desperation in terms of options up front.

I think they will be OK but you can't say anything definitive.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 39 mins

    Brighton 0-1 West Ham

Brighton win a corner and finally West Ham can bring on Said Benrahma for Tomas Soucek, who went down the tunnel a few minutes ago.

That's just gone down as a standard sub, not a concussion one. So it counts as one of West Ham's five changes.

I have to agree with John on VAR (17:57). The officials don't know how to use it, give the teams the opportunity to challenge a call they think is wrong and it adds another tactical element to the game.

John (17:57) what happens when the game becomes a constant game of reviews and challenges?

Tomas Soucek is helped to his feet. That's a huge relief. The cameras had stopped showing what was happening, I was getting worried. He looks groggy as he walks off the pitch with the medics.

Tomas Soucek is moving, although not much. Bart Verbruggen goes over to see if he's OK. The physios are still dealing with the Czech.

Only Mohamed Salah (five) has had a longer run in the Premier League of either scoring or assisting in successive games at Amex Stadium than James Ward-Prowse (four - three goals, two assists).

    FT: Everton 0-1 Wolves

    Everton

Everton manager Sean Dyche spoke to Sky Sports: "It's very frustrating. We were miles off it last weekend, but got back on it today with a good performance. It's a performance that should win, but it doesn't so we have to take responsibility for that. It's not just one individual collectively. We've created enough quality chances. Their keeper is probably man of the match."

Frustration about good performance: "We are stretched and the market is not easy for us so that would help. The reality is I'm not going to make excuses, you've still performed and done the job you need to do except from score. The capability is there. There's no lack of effort. I said that even last week. The stats will be good around the effort of the team."

Crowd: "I take it as the reality of the job here at Everton. People keep telling me to sign two centre forwards, it's not rocket science. It's not difficult to work that one out. We wanted to but it costs money and we work hard in the market, we have to work diligently in the market. There's still time yet. We're trying to construct deals that will work in our favour."

New starters: "They performed in a team unit and they've delivered as a team unit. No one thinks about that, they just see the scoreline. It's really frustrating, we can't just say we're frustrated every week. We have to go out and correct that."

Lucas Paqueta play acting is where VAR could be used properly. As in cricket give each team 3 reviews so players decide if they want to challenge a decision. In this case Milner knows there's no contact so use one of your reviews to check the challenge, there's no contact between the players, Paqueta is cheating so straight red card. Let the players decide if they want to use VAR to check goals, fouls, offsides, etc. If your challenge is unsuccessful you lose one of your reviews.
