Another chance for Tottenham as Dejan Kulusevski crosses for Pape Matar Sarr, but the ball is just behind the midfielder who ends up heading a looping effort straight into the arms of keeper Wes Foderingham.

It is still all Fulham but no matter what they do to try and get into the box, there's just too many Luton players in their way.

A good low ball into the box finds Erling Haaland unmarked on the far side of the box. Ten times out of 10 you'd back him to score but somehow he swipes wide!

Haaland has his head in his hands, he gobbles up those sorts of chances for breakfast.

All Tottenham but the home side are missing that key final ball.

Son Heung-Min looks to play in James Maddison but his pass is too heavy and Blades keeper Wes Foderingham sprints off his line to intercept.

Palace just can't keep the ball at the moment. Villa are creating chances down the right through Matty Cash and are controlling midfield.

No shots from either team though.

Liverpool

Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson to MOTD: "I think we changed a lot at half-time, not just personnel. We can come up with excuses for the first half, like the international break and people were travelling, but we made mistakes which we are not used to making. I thought the second half performance was impressive and we got what we deserved."

On his first goal since April 2022: "The goals don't come round often so you have to enjoy them. It's nice when you score and especially when it goes towards a win. It was important we got the result."

On Liverpool's poor first half: "We were poor. Too many mistakes. It was a poor performance all round. We were well below our standard. We started afresh. I think the second half we came out with new confidence, played some easy quick passes. I think after the second half the result was about right."

On coming from behind three times this season: "Yes, ideally we don't go behind. We've already done it a few times this season. Maybe last season that was our downfall, I don't remember too many comebacks. Our away form so far has been good, too. It's been a good start but there's along way to go. We can't afford to start like that in future."

More opportunities for the home side as Marcus Rashford fires in a cross which is just in front of Rasmus Hojlund.

At the other end Tariq Lamptey drags a shot wide to end a promising Brighton attack.

Wolves

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil to MOTD: "We had some good opportunities, created some great chances. They were big chances as well. You know with the players they have, and to bring on, you may rue those chances.

"Then we conceded from a situation we created ourselves. For us to compete with Liverpool we have to compete above our level. We did that for 45 minutes and then maybe threw the odd punch in the second half. The second goal for Liverpool came out of nowhere.

"I didn't think our goalkeeper made too many saves. It looks like a comfortable win for Liverpool but it wasn't comfortable for most of the afternoon. Liverpool is not the measure of where we are at and now we have to go again next week."

Fulham are having all the possession but just cannot find a way through Luton's low block at the moment. The home side are going to have to be patient and not get frustrated here.

Boubacar Kamara plays a lovely ball through to Moussa Diaby and he's away!

Chris Richards sprints back to put in an excellent block as Diaby almost pulls it back along the goalline until the American steps in.

Tottenham are trying to be a little bit too cute as Manor Solomon holds on to the ball a little longer than he should with teammates in the box.

Pape Matar Sarr then has a shot from range but it's easily dealt with by Wes Foderingham in the Sheffield United net.

How are Manchester City not ahead!?

There's a big scramble inside the box, Erling Haaland sees a shot cleared off the line before Alphonse Areola pushes over Ruben Dias' header from point-blank range.

The defending champions are well on top.

Matty Cash cuts in off the right and plays a one-two in the box but he can't quite get a shot off.

Villa are moving the ball around nicely in these early stages.

Full-back Sergio Reguilon slips the ball into Marcus Rashford who twists and turns in the box and tries to beat Brighton keeper Jason Steele at his near post, but the keeper prods the shot away with his boot.
