West Ham v Man City (15:00 BST)

Manchester City have won all four of their league games this season. Their longest winning streak from the beginning a top-flight campaign is six, set under Pep Guardiola in 2016-17.

They can win their opening three away league matches of a season for the first time since 2017.

Guardiola is unbeaten in all 14 of his Premier League meetings with West Ham, winning 12 and drawing two.

Cameron Archer hopes to give Sheffield United fans many more opportunities to see his signature celebration - and he may be adapting it as the season progresses.

The £18m signing from Aston Villa scored on his debut at Bramall Lane two weeks ago and said it has taken him a while to enjoy posing as an archer when he nets.

"My brother told me to do it but at first I didn't like doing it. I think the way I was doing it was why I didn't really like it.

"As time has gone on, I have changed it a little bit into a new style and now each time I score, I end up doing it.

"I've had a thought in my head about [how to adapt it]. I won't say what it is but obviously as time goes on, I probably will change it.

"I think it is important that someone who scores goals has a celebration, something to be known about. A few other players in the Premier League do it - and I want to make it my own."

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou on being named the Premier League manager of the month: "I take great pride in it but I am just the frontman.

"Credit to everyone for the way they have tackled everything after a challenging pre-season.

"It is an indication of how we as a club have handled a challenging start fairly well."

Tottenham have won three successive league matches, which they failed to do at any stage last season.

Victory would give Spurs 13 points from five games and signal their best start to a league campaign since 1965-66.

Tottenham v Sheffield United (15:00 BST)

Tottenham are unbeaten in five Premier League home clashes with Sheffield United, winning three and drawing two.

The Blades have only won five of their 43 away league matches against Spurs, most recently by 1-0 at White Hart Lane in November 1991.

Paul Heckingbottom's side knocked Spurs out of last season's FA Cup in the fifth round, winning 1-0 at home thanks to an Iliman Ndiaye goal.

  6. 'We have to grow up'published at 14:41 British Summer Time 16 September 2023

    FT: Wolves 3-1 Liverpool

    Wolves

Wolves forward Pedro Neto, speaking to TNT Sports: "We have to be more aggressive, against these teams we cannot concede easily. It was a tough one.

"The first half we dominate the game and we come out with zero points. We have to continue to work and we have to grow up.

"In the second half we didn't have the chance to arrive to their goal, we didn't do what we did in the first half or control the ball. It's tough after that first half to concede three goals, it's really hard."

On featuring regularly after injury: "It's really good, I feel like I'm getting better but I'm sad because what matters is the team and the points."

It is a measure of the development within the women's game that there is a market for these scarves.

Man Utd v Brighton (15:00 BST)

Manchester United have lost their past three league games against Brighton - including last season's corresponding fixture, which was Erik ten Hag's first match in charge.

That victory for the Seagulls was their first at Old Trafford on their 14th visit.

United have scored just once in their four previous clashes with Brighton in all competitions, and that was an own goal by Alexis Mac Allister in this fixture last year.

Jadon Sancho and Antony have both been ruled out of this game despite being fully fit.

Sancho has been sidelined by manager Erik ten Hag over the England man's very public questioning of his boss' negative assessment of his training performances - saying he was being made a scapegoat.

Antony has been given time off to deal with the serious allegations that have been made against him.

It will be interesting to see how Manchester United deal with that right-sided attacking berth. I suspect Diogo Dalot is in for a busy afternoon.

  11. Ansu Fati plays for Brightonpublished at 14:37 British Summer Time 16 September 2023

    Man Utd v Brighton (15:00BST)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Obviously there is a lot of excitement at Old Trafford this afternoon about the prospect of Rasmus Hojlund making his first Manchester United start.

But the most startling name on the team sheet in my opinion is that of Ansu Fati.

Barcelona's number 10, the heir apparent to Lionel Messi now plays for Brighton.

It is, admittedly, a sign the forward's career path has not quite gone to plan. But it also shows just how much progress Brighton have made in recent years.

On Thursday they play their first European game - against AEK Athens in the Europa League.

  12. Head-to-head statspublished at 14:36 British Summer Time 16 September 2023

Fulham v Luton Town (15:00 BST)

Fulham beat Luton Town 7-0 in the Championship when the teams last met in May 2022.

The Cottagers are unbeaten in the past five league meetings, winning both home games in that run (W3, D2).

This is the first top-flight fixture between Fulham and Luton since 1959-60.

Fulham won 4-2 at home on 12 September 1959, with Luton triumphing 4-1 in the reverse fixture in January 1960.

  13. 'I want to be positive' - Emerypublished at 14:35 British Summer Time 16 September 2023

Aston Villa v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is expecting a "tough competitor" in Palace, but still believes his team can win.

"They are a competitive, orgainsed team. They are a tough team to beat.

"It will be a difficult match, but I want to be positive, we have good expectations.

"We won two matches, we lost two matches, we are balanced now. [Today] is key, we have to prepare and think that it will be difficult."

Odsonne Edouard has scored three of Palace's five Premier League goals this season.

  15. The best of the statspublished at 14:33 British Summer Time 16 September 2023

Aston Villa v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)

Aston Villa have lost just one of their 11 Premier League home games against Crystal Palace (W6, D4).

In 2023, only Manchester City and Arsenal have accrued more Premier League points than Aston Villa's 49.

Unai Emery was winless in all three Premier League matches as Arsenal manager against Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace.

Palace are undefeated away from home this season in all competitions (W2, D1).

James: Week in week out somebody talks about Liverpool luck. I'm putting this down to heart, commitment, and hard work. We've earned this start and the hate from other fans shows we are back.
