Chris: Villa are Jekyll and Hyde so far this season either concede lots of goals or scores lots of goals.

Mark: If Brighton can get a quick goal soon then I think there is still hope. Villa defence isn't the best.

Ollie Watkins is held up in the box as Villa suddenly break. He can't get a shot off and his cross is headed away. Brighton manage to deal with the pressure eventually.

Danny Welbeck gets himself a yellow card as he slides in, catching Boubacar Kamara, in an attempt to help out his team.

Dan: What weird seasons last year’s overachievers are having. Newcastle thumped Villa, Brighton thumped Newcastle, Villa are thumping Brighton.

Matt: Not just saying this because of today although it is proving my point; Dunk is overrated. He is the heart of a defence that do not keep clean sheets. Looking closely his positioning is so poor.

Ollie Watkins is a real threat for Villa.

Lewis Dunk and Adam Webster are struggling to deal with his movement and Joel Veltman has to help them out in the latest attack.

Boubacar Kamara skips past Kaoru Mitoma and the Brighton winger chops him down.

Mitoma has struggled to make his mark so far.

Ben: This Brighton reminds me of Arsenal under Wenger. When they are good they are unplayable but occasionally they would lose scandalously.

It's been a really good display from Aston Villa. Ollie Watkins and Moussa Diaby are obviously combining really well.

The shot from Diaby deflected off Pervis Estupinan and wrong-footed Jason Steele in the Brighton goal.

It has been fantastic here at Villa. They've really narrowed up Brighton quickly and they're making it really difficult.

Villa are exploiting the space and they're just constantly getting full-backs one-one-one. It's fantastic to watch.

Lucas Digne is in the book now too for a foul on the left.

It's a training ground routine and almost comes off. John McGinn pretends to take it but leaves it. It's then chipped over the top for Moussa Diaby but he ends up kung-fu kicking Jason Steele.

Edward: Watkins is in such good form at the moment. Maybe it's time for everyone to stop captaining Haaland in the fantasy, especially given the run of games Villa now face.
