BBC Sport football expert Rachel Brown-Finnis is predicting the outcome of all 64 games in Australia and New Zealand. Here is what she had to say about this game...

I worry for Colombia here. They play in quite an open style and Germany are capable of destroying them the same way they thrashed Morocco.

    Brown-Finnis' prediction: 3-0

  2. What does everyone need?published at 10:08 British Summer Time 30 July 2023

    Germany v Colombia (10.30 BST)

Because of Morocco's stunning win over South Korea in Adelaide, Germany can qualify from Group H with a win here.

If the Germans win they will have six points, and as Colombia and Morocco meet in the final game, only one of those sides could reach six points if the European side win here.

Because of facing Morocco in their final match, Colombia would still need another point in that game even if they won here.

If this match ends in a draw, South Korea will be eliminated.

  3. TEAM NEWSpublished at 10:04 British Summer Time 30 July 2023

    Germany v Colombia (10.30 BST)

Martina Voss-Tecklenberg makes two changes to the Germany team which hammered Morocco 6-0 in their opening match.

Felicitas Rauch suffered an injury in training this week and is unavailable, so Chantal Hagel replaces her at left back.

Lena Oberdorf, the exciting 21-year-old Wolfsburg midfielder, replaces Chelsea's Melanie Leupolz in the other change.

Germany XI: Frohms; Huth, Hendrich, Doorsoun, Hagel; Dabritz, Oberdorf; Brand, Magull, Bohl; Popp

Subs: Berger, Johannes, Kleinherne, Hegering, Schueller, Lohmann, Freigang, Lattwein, Nuesken, Anyomi, Rauch, Leupolz

Colombia coach Nelson Abadia makes one change to the team which defeated South Korea 2-0 in their first game.

Attacking midfielder Leicy Santos is replaced by the more defensive minded Lady Andrade, as Abadia looks for central solidity against the former world champions.

Linda Caicedo, who had a health scare this week after collapsing at training, is fit enough to start.

Colombia XI:Perez; Arias, Jorelyn, Daniela, Vanegas; Durango; Andrade, Montoya; Caicedo, Usme, Ramirez

Subs:Sepulveda, Giraldo, Ospina Garcia, Reyes, Restrepo, Santos, Baron, Guzman, Ramos, Chacon, Caracas, Bahr
