The introduction of Ayane for Morocco is a good one.

She is very pacey and likes to run beyond the defence. She will try to stretch that France back line.

A fine run from Sakina Karchaoui ends with her firing a shot straight at the keeper. France can hurt Morocco as much as they want to here.

Morocco win a corner - the first of the game - but it is swung straight into the grasp of France keeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin.

She comes out to try and claim a cross from the right but flaps and misses it. Behind her, Eugenie Le Sommer can't control and finish into the unguarded net.

Another chipped Moroccan ball forward looks to set Sakina Ouzraoui Diki away, but it's too heavy and goes through to the France keeper.

France have completely eased off the accelerator now. They're largely seeing out time.

You can hear that the crowd in Adelaide are urging Morocco to get something here. Every time the ball is sent anywhere near the France half with even a sniff of an attack, the volume rises.

France are in second gear now. Preserving energy for later endeavours.

Sadly, it might not actually class as such as Anissa Lahmari was offside before she managed both.

France are cruising into the quarters. Only a Moroccan miracle can change that.

I think Morocco know they are a beaten team now.

But it is about pride, they know what they are here to represent.

It is about going out in the second half and not conceding any more goals, I don't see them being able to find anything in attack to get back into the game.
