Last-ditch block from Lucy Bronze as Georgia Stanway loses the ball in the middle of the park and Aitana Bonmati goes on a run.

Sorry but Spain have been clearly the better side. Mary Earps has kept us in the match in this second half. England just haven't created enough at all, and Spain are masters at running the clock down yet still providing threat.

    Ben.

    Hit and hope from England.

    Jamie

Sadly feel like a lack of quality in the central midfield has cost us this. Never looked in the game through the middle in either attack or defence.

Headed away in the area. Lauren James picks up the ball and sends it down to Lauren Hemp before carrying on her run down the right.

Hemp needs someone to help her, she's closed down by three Spain shirts.

Minutes on the clock left for England.

Bit of frustration from England as Georgia Stanway gives Alexia Putellas a shove in the back.

She gives away the free kick and Spain have a chance from a set piece in a decent area.

That last element of play for England has been hopeful rather than with precision and quality.

Jenni Hermoso, who made her Spain debut in 2012, spoke at this tournament about the days of playing in front of crowds of 300. She's about to get her hands on the World Cup in front of 75,000 - unless England can find a late equaliser.

Spain come again and they should be two ahead.

The ball comes across for Salma Paralluelo and she just can't get the shot on it., Lucy Bronze gets a crucial little touch on that, I think.

Chris: How is that not a second yellow under the new directive re: kicking the ball away?!? Ref has totally lost control, we are getting done over here.

Ben: Ref looked to me like she was going to book her for kicking ball away then realised it would be a red and changed mind

Bit of the dark arts from Spain here as they change the corner taker at the last moment to waste a bit of time.
