That's a brilliant goal from City, they worked it well down that left-hand side. When they make that big diagonal switch they look for it, Walker's getting much further forward, he just gets in behind Tavares who's not looking and then very unselfish.

I expect him to take the shot on, he's obviously got a few goals in him but he just sits it back onto the edge of the area, Foden coming forward.

It's all Luton. If they are going to get a third Premier League goal ever, this is as good a chance as any. Jacob Brown has another shot blocked - they're basically lining up for a go right now.

There is a break in play though as Wolves keeper Jose Sa sits on the ground. The physios race on.

Fulham have started pretty well here.

They work a nice opening on the right for a fired cross but Marc Guehi dives in to intercept and clear.

That is the problem when you go five at the back against Man City.

You have Kyle Walker who is lightning fast running down that right hand side, he is getting in behind and you think "he must be offside", but he isn't.

He is that quick he gets beyond and is in so much space.

Forest are trying to keep compact in the middle and give City the wide areas, but with Kyle Walker on that right hand side it is a tricky set up.

Poor Ola Aina. Somehow, he has to work out how to stop Jeremy Doku running riot. Their first coming together sees the City winger beat his man like he's a hologram.

Holy smokes, what a goal that would have been. Luton striker Carlton Morris cuts the ball inside a defender and smashes in a shot from 20 yards which has Jose Sa - but it comes back off the woodwork.

It's fair to say that goal had been coming but if you want some stats that further illustrate how this game has gone in the first seven minutes, then Kyle Walker's pass to set up Phil Foden was City's 98th of the game, with a 97% accuracy.

Forest fans used to be able to boast that themselves of course. This time they answer by asking where the City supporters were when their side, er, wasn't quite so good.

Forest yet to really touch the ball, barring the save from Matt Turner to deny Julian Alvarez.

You do expect a difficult afternoon for Nottingham Forest - they're going to come and they're going to try and frustrate Manchester City. That five and four are going to have to be so resilient.

The three tiers of Forest fans at Etihad Stadium are easy to spot, and are making themselves heard too - they have stayed on their feet since kick-off and have not stopped singing... even though their side have hardly had a kick of the ball yet.
