Brentford

Brentford boss Thomas Frank, speaking to BBC MOTD: "First and foremost Everton deserved to win. We performed badly. This was very unlike us and these fantastic players that we played like that today.

"This group of players have been good at bouncing back. It's very important we do so again. It was more than a little bit off [Brentford's passing in the first half]. We were off it in terms of touches - especially first half."

Matt: As a Man Utd for over 40 years, to say Rashford and Fernandes need to go is clearly very silly. Rashford was sensational last season and Bruno’s figures since joining Utd are up there with the very best. Rival fans being cheeky perhaps?

Bit of Sean Dyche in a Burnley game for old time's sake.

Everton

Everton boss Sean Dyche, speaking to BBC MOTD: "I thought it was a similar performances to ones we didn't win in that we created chances. We created some great chances first half. It was a worthy win in the end.

"They are hard yards when you're not winning games. Brentford are a top side. We are still a work in progress. It is a stepping stone. These are all building blocks."

On Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring: "He is a very good player. He has had a very frustrating period. It's been a very hard period for him but he stuck at it. He will get fitter and sharper. Dwight [McNeil] again is only just back fit. There was a lot of good in the performance today."

On playing Calvert-Lewin and Beto together: "I'd still like to play two strikers when I can. It's got to suit the players."

Only Erling Haaland (29) has had more shots than Man Utd's Marcus Rashford in the Premier League so far this season (23). However, just six of Rashford's 23 attempts have been on target, scoring just one goal.

Burnley have lost all three of their Premier League home games so far.

They also failed to win any of their first three home games last season and ended up getting promoted.

However they have never lost their opening four home league fixtures in a season.

Not sure I realised so many Manchester United fans wanted Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford gone.

Manchester United have 10 different nationalities in their starting XI against Burnley, their most in a Premier League match since December 2013 against Newcastle - also 10.

Portugal is the country represented twice, through Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot.
