    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

There were some tired legs from Coventry's point of view.

When the ball came in, Connolly's header into the far corner of the net gave Wilson no chance.

Coventry have got to keep their heads. They're rocking. They've got to get themselves sorted and see out this game. A point would be a good result.

    Southampton 1-4 Leicester

Leicester have looked so comfortable tonight.

They have expertly made the most of their chances and navigated around the Southampton defenders as if they're not even there.

    Aaron Connolly

Hull's pressure pays off through the man who missed a first-half sitter!

Tyler Morton swings a cross towards Aaron Connolly in the latest wave of Hull attacks. This time the striker obliges to head his side level.

Hull's three-game unbeaten run in this fixture looks set to be extended!

Josh Eccles is cautioned for the latest misplaced challenge on Coventry's part.

Scott Twine is over the ball in a useful position again for Hull.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 82 mins

    Coventry 0-1 Hull

You wait the whole game for a booking and then two come along almost at once.

Jake Bidwell is booked as Coventry's backs go increasingly against the wall.

Scott Twine and Tyler Morton try to create danger for Hull. Joel Latibeaudiere volleys a cross away, and for a moment it looks like Ellis Simms might charge clear at the other end.

Then Hull try to counter-attack. There's an enjoyable chaotic feel to this finale, with both sets of players appearing to tire.

    Southampton 1-4 Leicester

St Mary's is a factory of sadness right now.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 81 mins

    Hull 0-1 Coventry

Kyle McFadzean earns the first yellow card of the game at the expense of a free-kick in a dangerous area for Hull, who waste the opportunity.

Goalkeeper Ben Wilson is warned not to waste too much time as Coventry close in on what would be an excellent win to end their run of three draws.

  9. Postpublished at 78 mins

    Hull 0-1 Coventry

Jaden Philogene performs a few stepovers and sets up Scott Twine for a shot inside the penalty, which the recipient responds to by trying to place his finish.

The covering Jake Bidwell does well to block the danger.

Another careless mistake by Southampton opens the door and Leicester make them pay.

Kamaldeen Sulemana gives the ball away on the edge of the visitors box.

It's picked up by Stephy Mavididi who beats a Saints player and then dribbles the ball the entire length of the pitch and fires low past Gavin Bazunu.

    Southampton 1-3 Leicester

    Here come Southampton again.

Ryan Fraser with a powerful shot from just inside the Leicester box on a tight angle but he's denied by the Foxes keeper Mads Hermansen.

The hosts looking better this second half.

    Hull 0-1 Coventry

Jake Bidwell almost has an instant impact for Coventry, sending a shot wide.

Milan van Ewijk then produces another alert piece of defending to snuff out a hint of danger from Hull.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Southampton 1-3 Leicester

    Chances at both ends.

Southampton's Adam Armstrong with a golden opportunity on the edge of the Leicester six-yard-box, but he skies it well over the bar.

Then the visitors slice through Saints defenders like a hot knife through butter.

Stephy Mavididi outruns a defender and is through on goal and tries to chip over Gavin Bazunu who comes to the edge of his box, but the ball goes wide.

  15. 'A long 15 minutes for Coventry'published at 21:24 British Summer Time 15 September 2023

    Hull 0-1 Coventry

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

I've been impressed with the way Milan van Ewijk has marshalled Jaden Philogene.

It's going to be a long 15 minutes for Coventry, who've done well. Hull have started to get a foothold in the game, as you normally do if you're 1-0 down and pressing.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 59 mins

    Southampton 1-3 Leicester

Apologies followers but I missed a Southampton sub earlier.

Sam Edozie is off and Kamaldeen Sulemana is on.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 69 mins

    Hull 0-1 Coventry

Hull have been pinging passes about and finding their rhythm, forcing a chance from which Ben Wilson blocks Scott Twine's shot with his legs from eight yards out.

It won't be for lack of second-half attacking intent if the Tigers lose this, but their final ball and finishing tends to leave plenty to be desired.

Cyrus Christie is having the intended impact. Wilson tries to release Matt Godden immediately after that save, but plays the ball too hastily.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:20 British Summer Time 15 September 2023

    Southampton 1-3 Leicester

Leicester take goalscorer Wilfred Ndidi off.

And the Italian Cesare Casadei is on.

    Dan Crowley

Unless they concede at least three times in the remaining 30 minutes or so at Salford, Notts County are going top of League Two!

Dan Crowley has just produced a terrific finish to double their lead against the 18th-placed side in the division.

What a start to the season the newly-promoted side are having!
