    Hull 0-0 Coventry

Hull have made the better start, winning an early corner which Scott Twine can't take full advantage of.

A spot of trickery by Jaden Philogene created the opportunity, with Ruben Vinagre - who spoke of his love for the city this week - seeing the ball behind off a Coventry foot.

    Salford 0-0 Notts County

In League Two tonight, Salford can go level with the teams in the top half of the table if they beat Notts County.

Coventry have just drawn three on the bounce, so it would be nice for confidence to get an away win.

Once we got that first win, we were pretty good away from home last year. Let's hope we can do well on our travels as well as at home this season.

Luis Binks, making his debut, can show everyone just what the manager has seen in the new signing from Bologna.

This will be a cracking game. Coventry are a very good team but Liam Rosenior will set his team up accordingly and I expect another three points tonight.

I was a player for 18 years. Every week, the manager sets a plan out for how to win the game. Hull took responsibility in their win at Leicester. They produced a performance and a result.

    Southampton v Leicester (20:00 BST)

Southampton boss Russell Martin makes four changes to the side that was thumped 5-0 by Sunderland last time out.

The key note is, England Under-21 skipper and Manchester City loanee Taylor Harwood-Bellis makes his first start at centre back in place of the injured Jan Bednarek.

Meanwhile, visiting Leicester make three changes and Jamie Vardy gets the start and the captain's armband upfront.

Southampton: Bazunu, Walker-Peters, Harwood-Bellis, Charles, Manning, Downes, Smallbone, A. Armstrong (capt), Edozie, Fraser, Adams

Subs: McCarthy, Holgate, Bree, Aribo, Alcaraz, S. Armstrong, Amo-Ameyaw, Kamaldeen, Mara

Leicester: Hermansen, Justin, Vestergaard, Doyle, Ricardo, Ndidi, Winks, Dewsbury-Hall, McAteer, Mavididi, Vardy

Subs: Stolarczyk, Faes, Coady, Choudhury, Casadei, Yunus, Fatawu, Iheanacho, Daka

Hull secured the third win of their current four-match unbeaten run by becoming the first team to beat Leicester this season with a 1-0 win at the King Power Stadium last time out - and manager Liam Rosenior says his tactics were partly inspired by the challenge Coventry posed to the Foxes in their 2-1 defeat there on 6 August.

"It was really, really pleasing to go away to Leicester and not only keep a clean sheet but give up only one shot on target," Rosenior reflected on his side's victory, adding that the Sky Blues are "outstanding" and predicting that they will be near the top of the table at the top of the season. "But it doesn't mean anything if we don't build on it."

Aaron Connolly failed to fulfil Rosenior's request to get Kylian Mbappe's shirt when the Republic of Ireland played France on 7 September, but the striker starts as part of a Tigers side whose only change is Jaden Philogene for Adama Traore in midfield. Ozan Tufan misses out with a thigh tear.

Coventry are also unbeaten in four and have drawn three in a row, most recently in a barnstorming 3-3 draw at home to Watford in which they equalised three times.

Joel Latibeaudiere and Kasey Palmer only returned from international duty with Jamaica on Thursday. Defender Latibeaudiere starts but Palmer makes way for Brighton loanee Yasin Ayari in midfield, where the injured Ben Sheaf is replaced by Liam Kelly.

Jamie Allen and deadline day signing Liam Kitching are both on the bench as they feature in City's matchday squad for the first time this season, and Luis Binks makes his full debut on loan from Bologna on the left, while Bobby Thomas drops from the starting line-up.

You might want to look out for American attacker Haji Wright, who has one goal and two assists in 232 minutes of Championship football so far this season, averaging a goal or assist every 77 minutes.

Wright's been involved in 30 goals in his last 41 league appearances across his time with City and Antalyaspor in Turkey, scoring 24 times and setting up six.

Hull XI: Ingram, Coyle, Jones, Greaves, Vinagre, Slater, Seri, Delap, Philogene, Twine, Connolly.

Subs: Allsop, McLoughlin, Traore, Allahyar, Vaughan, Morton, Lokilo, Smith, Christie.

Coventry XI: Wilson, Latibeaudiere, McFadzean, Binks, Van Ewijk, Eccles, Kelly, Dasilva, Ayari, Godden, Wright.

Subs: Sakamoto, Simms, Bidwell, Ayari, Binks, Kelly, Collins, Rus, Obikwu.

  10. Tale of two relegated teams at St Mary'spublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 15 September 2023

    Southampton v Leicester (20:00 BST)

A battle between two teams who were relegated from the Premier League last season.

Both suffered their first defeats of the season last time out and will be looking to get back on track.

Seventh placed Southampton have had two weeks to fix their leaky defence which has conceded the most goals in the Championship so far this season (12).

Third placed Leicester are going steady and have so far done enough to get wins with late goals.

Saints could realistically jump up to second in the Championship table with a win given their goal difference. The visiting Foxes could go top and two points clear if they can seal the victory.

    Expect a spicy one.

  11. A clash between two in-form teamspublished at 19:31 British Summer Time 15 September 2023

    Hull v Coventry (19:45 BST)

You could argue that these two sides are closer than the Championship table suggests.

Both have only lost one game but eight spots separate them.

Sixth-placed Hull City are undefeated through their past four matches, with three wins and a draw, against teams including Blackburn, Leicester and Bristol City.

Coventry, meanwhile, are also unbeaten in their past four and have shown just how hard they are to beat, earning three draws on the bounce.

Hull have beaten Coventry the past three times the two sides met. Can they extend the streak to four in front of home fans at the MKM Stadium?
