    Everton 3-0 Bournemouth

This really has been a good performance from Everton and a pretty dire one from Bournemouth.

Neto is forced into another save before Jack Harrison is given a standing ovation when he's replaced by Nathan Patterson.

    Burnley 1-4 Chelsea

Finally, Chelsea get a little glimpse of what all that money gets you.

They've been excellent this half against an, admittedly, dire Burnley.

  3. Postpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 7 October 2023

    Fulham 1-0 Sheff Utd

Fair play to the travelling Sheffield United fans, they are making a lot of noise despite their side losing at the moment.

The Blades do have a free kick which causes a bit of a scramble but Fulham eventually clear.

    Chelsea are filling their boots!

Burnley are ripped open again as Raheem Sterling breaks down the left. He's been superb. He crosses low across the box for Cole Palmer to set up half-time Nicolas Jackson for a neat spin and finish.

    That is the game.

    Everton 3-0 Bournemouth

Dominic Calvert-Lewin goes down in the box but VAR confirms no penalty.

Dwight McNeil whips in the corner instead and Neto has to react to block Amadou Onana's effort after Phillip Billing did well to block Abdoulaye Doucoure's effort.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 7 October 2023

    Burnley 1-3 Chelsea

Cheap yellow this. Moises Caicedo kicks the ball away and is booked. Needless, especially with the Blues so in control.

Burnley just haven't come out this half. Barring a Wilson Odobert shot they've offered nothing in attack. Chelsea are cruising.

    Everton 3-0 Bournemouth

Abdoulaye Doucoure has had a good game and wants more goals. He curls one wide of the right post as Everton continue to attack.

Changes for Brentford as Neal Maupay and Frank Onyeka are on for Vitaly Janelt and Yoanne Wissa.

Let's be honest, the officials may have just got very lucky there. Because the game did restart before being halted very quickly. If that goal had eventually been ruled out, there would have been further questions to answer.

That is some finish from Raheem Sterling on his left foot, across James Trafford and nestled into the side netting.

Moises Caicedo wins the ball back with aggressive midfield play to create that chances.

It's a superb finish, like an arrow.

United have been mis-managed since the day Sir Alex retired. Too many managers signing former players, players past their prime, one-season wonders, over-rated young players and paying them all too much. Fernandes is the only good buy in the last decade. The recruitment head/team are completely useless. The only solution is a new owner, Sir Jim do a deal, please.

    Ian, Chippenham

Noel: Amrabat is another Casemiro! Very wily, experienced players but they don't have the pace and urgency you must have for the Premier League. They are more suited to European games or internationals where the pace is slower. Who does the recruiting for Untied?

Everton fans can't believe what they're witnessing'. I mean, they are only beating relegation candidates, hardly beating Barcelona! Get a grip!

    Alex, Norfolk

Jon: Bournemouth seem to have avoided much of the discussions around relegation battle and how poor they've been. The bottom 5/6 teams really have looked under-par this season, but probably have enough points between themselves to avoid any records
