Brentford goalscorer Bryan Mbeumo speaking to TNT Sports: "Before the game we wanted to come and win here because I don't think many teams have beaten them three times in a row here. We're very happy with the result, I think it's a very good performance for the team."

Chelsea again made to look ordinary, this time by a fantastic Brentford effort. Shows that a great team ethos regardless of how they're rated in world football shouldn't be written off against big names on big money.

How much did that Chelsea squad cost again?

    Nick, N5

Rachel T: Brentford were superb. Love to see the away fans providing all the noise at Stamford Bridge.

Femi: Absolutely depressing to be a Chelsea fan now. Is this rubbish what £400m gets you? These players are not even worthy of a Chelsea shirt. I miss the Drogba, Terry, Lampard, Hazard generation

Brentford finished as the top club in west London last season - could the same happen this season?

The Bees have jumped above Chelsea into 10th place with today's win.

Boos from the home fans at the final whistle. The players stand around looking dejected, while Mauricio Pochettino pacing around like a man who has just seen a ghost.

In contrast, Brentford are jubilantly celebrating with their fans in the away end - German-style cheers greet the fist-pumps from the players.

In all honesty a well deserved victory for Brentford.

We expected them to score more than Chelsea today and that is a damning indictment of the home side's attacking form.

Strong performance, resolute defending, Ethan Pinnock has been excellent today we must highlight his performance, he also scored today too.

The physicality and solidity they have in their back three is at the core of results like this. Such astute signings in that area have added value to what they were already doing.

This was the perfect away performance from Brentford, everyone knowing their jobs defensively and also offering a threat on the counter-attack.

Players throwing their bodies on the line, defending set pieces well, and with the pace of Mbeumo they always offered a threat in behind. Thomas Frank has set his team up so well today.

    Well, well, well!

Brentford have won at Stamford Bridge for the third straight Premier League game.

What a performance from Thomas Frank's men. An away game masterclass.

Despite Chelsea dominating possession, Ethan Pinnock's second-half header and an injury-time tap-i from Bryan Mbeumo seals the three points for the Bees.

It was always on the cards.

The way Brentford have managed this game has been superb, Frank and his staff deserve so much credit.

So resolute at the back and clinical up top. The belief and confidence they have when they break, they know they can be a threat and take their chances.

A clinical counter from Brentford as they punish Chelsea again with Robert Sanchez stranded up field.

A Brentford head meets the corner and the Bees are off, swarming forward with Sanchez desperately chasing back.

Neal Maupay keeps his cool with Sanchez breathing down his neck and trying to clean him out, squaring to Bryan Mbeumo who calmly slots in to the empty net.

Is there someone ready to give credit to Brentford? Without their two best players (Toney and Henry), Frank always find a way to be competitive. Even after the terrible loss at ManUtd. Wonderful manager.

    Chelsea 0-1 Brentford

    Mark Warburton
Former Brentford boss on BBC Radio 5 Live

Chelsea are trying to give Palmer and Sterling more freedom to roam.

The issue in the first half was that chances were falling to Cucurella on that left hand side and he looked very umcomfortable, missed a few.

They are now giving Palmer and Sterling the license to get on the ball and drive at the Brentford defence, but the visitors are still looking comfortable.
