This game feels the same as most of Chelsea's matches this season, playing well but just can't break through.

Brentford are doing really well getting men behind the ball. But Chelsea are passing it, getting into good decisions, but there is no aggression when shooting, no 'I have to score' mentality about them.

To illustrate Chelsea's dominance, if that isn't abundantly clear already, look at this stat.

In the past five minutes, 48.1% of the game has been played in the Brentford third.

Cole Palmer has been very impressive so far, dropping into pockets to create, always scanning to receive and looking to play forward. He also has the energy and desire to run forward when he sees the opportunity.

The rotation from this Chelsea team in attacking areas has been excellent. Thomas Frank will want his Brentford team to have longer spells of possession.
