Newcastle are looking like, not a boxer on the ropes, but they are looking tired aren't they?

Wolves are having more possession, Newcastle deeper and deeper.

Dan Burn is the first man in the book for his reaction to the assistant referee spotting him dragging down a Wolves player.

Mark: What has happened to the officiating this weekend? All season they've been handing out cards like confetti and now this weekend suddenly they seem to have lost them!

This is where the physical exertions of playing midweek could start to tell for Newcastle. They're relying on a lot of the players who featured in that Champions league loss to Borussia Dorrtmund.

Wolves need to keep the pace up. They also need to find some attacking quality too.

There's an example of the real pace Wolves have in this team. They are quite happy to let Newcastle have possession but when they do spring the trap, you look at Hwang, Cunha, Neto; they've got pace on the counter-attack and that's how they are looking to cause Newcastle problems.

Newcastle are looking to take the sting out the game. I'm surprised Eddie Howe hasn't looked at substitutions already.

Wolves continue to press.

Pedro Neto is sent scampering away by Tommy Doyle. He beats a man on the right byline and sends a ball in that Matheus Cunha gathers and draws a save from Nick Pope.

Joelinton is down holding his boot.

It doesn't take him long to be hauled back to his feet to carry on, though. Maybe just giving his side a breather.

Wolves are certainly giving this a good go. They've been the dominant force since the break. Newcastle have barely had a glimpse of the home goal.

The Wolves fans are getting more and more frustrated with referee Anthony Taylor and when he's giving decisions like that you can see.

He's made a bad decision there, it was a really good challenge from Lemina.

Tommy Doyle whips a superb free-kick into the box that lands in amongst a group before bobbling behind. There's a VAR check for handball against Callum Wilson but his arm is straight down by his side. No chance that is a penalty.

The ref gets more abuse from the stands as Matheus Cunha is fouled by Kiera Trippier on the right near the Newcastle box. His crime? Not giving the Newcastle man a yellow card.

The Wolves fans don't like it but Almiron has done so well there. He's only slight in body but he's really strong on the ball. He gets the ball off Traore, puts his body in the between him and the ball and runs it out of danger for Newcastle. Traore gets frustrated because he can't get past him.

Showed a lot of strength there.

Every decision against Wolves is going to provoke anger in the home fans now.

They switch the ball from one side to the other to find Nelson Semedo on the right but his cross is straight at Nick Pope.
